Ok my next guess will be Blyth Spartans ground Croft Park they are in Northumberland

CLUE 45... the club that played here seemed to do ok when there was a "one" in the decade.
CLUE 46....one of the stands is on the monopoly board.

Damn it I considered Tottenham as an answer but was fixated on a venue in the North of England
The European Final must have been the UEFA Cup with Wolverhampton in '72 or whenever it occured
Hopefully the latest round should prove more simplistic and prohibit shooting off in different directons - Can recall Crystal Palace having a fire incident some years back but not aware of too many others, and it's not Valley Parade Bradford
Take an attempt at Maine Road Manchester but understand it's a shot in the dark and nothing more

yes it was Spurs v WOLVES, Final (we woz robbed)
they were the first and only team to win the FA Cup while in the non league.
they were the first team to do the double in the 20th century.
