NFL Time!!!

A place to chat about anything thats not football related. Most of the threads in here are completely pointless which is why people keep coming back and back. As the forum title suggests, feel free to make any post you want on any subject you wish. It also has Adult jokes (so be warned) which is the other reason people keep coming back.

Browns looked somewhat better, but need to get rid of Sashi Brown and the analytics nonsense to get a real team on the field! scUM are next week, have Illinios this week. Last week was vs Michigan State, didnt see a 48-3 pasting in the works at all!

Browns and Lions should all just get their overpaid arses to their yachts for an early start to off season partying.

Would it be okay if we loaded up on torpedoes while they do?

2018 season almost here........ Horrific preseason for the Detroit Lions and new coach, Matt Patricia, closing out with a 35-17 humiliation to the Browns. Are the Browns looking like they'll have an above average season, OhioTB?

I've looked at the Lions schedule....... I'm predicting a 5-11 season. Hopefully they don't embarrass themselves in the seasons first Monday Night Football v the NY Jets.

Packers 2-2 in preseason and reading reports that they're using their preseason in the way it should. Beaten last night by KC Chiefs but they'll be NFC North Favourites, just in front of the Vikings. They should comfortably win their opener v Chicago.

Can't see Dons 49ers doing very much this season either.

'MON THE LIONS......... but there genuinely is more chance of Ipswich Town winning the league than the Lions doing ANYTHING AT ALL good.

Surprise us, Detroit!

We've lost our starting center, and a couple OL's have also been injured. We no longer have Dez Bryant, and Mr Jones decided Dan Bailey(one of the most accurate kickers in the league) is surplus to our requirements.

My prediction: 8-8 (no playoffs)

I've read that the Saints are being touted as a SB contender. Should be interesting, I've always liked Drew Brees.

What’s even more surprising is how the Bears managed to almost cause the upset. Hopefully it was just the Packers off to a slow start. Because if the Bears are genuine, then it could be rock bottom NFC North for the lions.

Monday night football though, Lions v Jets. Shall find out tonight if the Lions preseason, shitty form is going to continue. Stafford is no Rodgers....., not even close in my opinion.

But......., come on, Lions. Make it interesting.

I'd be rooting for Minnesota as it's my home state and last year was encouraging (lost to eventual winners Philadelphia after a fine progress) but while the defense seems stable, feel we don't have the complete attributes to really make such an impact again this time around.

Don't have the same enthusiasm for NFL games and competition as once before but all the same would endeavor to keep track of what occurs.

The vikings have the best defence and could be a decent threat, strangely enough the Packers go to Minnesota this weekend, just hoping Rodgers is fit.

Although I did read one great post.

I am in a fantasy league where we pick the games straight up and assign points to the game. For instance, if I pick Browns over Jets and give it 7 pts, I win 7 points. Each game is numbered 1-16.

This was not a good week lol

NFC North wide open this year. How the hell did the Bills go to Vikings and thrash them? With the packers issues, really thought it was the Vikings title.
And then the Lions win v the pats? Everything seems arse from elbow.

Bills go to the Packers this week. Very interested to see how that pans out.

And the lions feel they’ve got a big chance this week @ 9’s Cowgirls? Dallas must be in pretty poor shape if the Lions go there and win.

^ ^ ^ Really?

I will be shocked if this happens, no matter how poor that Dallas offense is.

Historically, the lions just do not win in Dallas. No bets going on for me!

I think Lions will win also. Shocking how Dallas has gone downhill since last year with Zeke and Zac still there.

Well guys...... been a fan of the Lions since 1991...... I’ve read books on them, Charlie Sanders book, Barry Sanders book,...., I could probably do a mastermind subject on them and score a few points....... they just do not win in Dallas. And that continued tonight.
No matter how Shyte Dallas are this year, the lions will find ways to lose 26-24 there. f**king franchise pisses me off at times.

GB Pack locking out the Bills? The Bills who defeated Vikings last week??? The NFL is catching on to the illuminati goings on of British soccer.
