This website has some security issues with certain browsers. I'd advise anyone to focus.

I use Firefox to access the pages and up to now a message would alert you that log-ins could be compromised or at risk of exposure. Nothing to overly concern about but a relevant issue nonetheless. Other sites such as TWTD would operate normally i.e. without attention to risk, but this one itself would invariably present certain risks when attempting to log-in through a Firefox connection. Not sure about others such as Safari or Opera as don't use them.

It's wasn't worth changing as the log-in risk / insecure message would only apply to this website more often than not, but took in some information that was relevant and here's a link that if anyone is experiencing similar issues would do well to take a moment to read.

Followed one or two relevant guidelines, and lo and behold we now got a secure connection. Maybe all the same change passwords and email information at the same time to further security enhancements, but recall other users did just that and lost their accounts or years of participation. I don't wish to join that list. Here's the link that entails the issue here :

Hi Kerry Blue

Click on your username top right

The click on user control panel

Then select the profile tab of the tabs in front of you

Then select "Edit account settings"

That then gives you the option of changing your password.

Hope that helps.

New user here (Villa fan in peace, will be watching you closely this season).

The anti-spam question on signup is "who is our manager" but the answer is still Paul Lambert. I'm also part of a club that is glad to forget their Lambert era.

Love Paul Cook from what I've seen of him so far in interviews.

Welcome to the forum mate, so what can we expect from young Louie Barry ? The Villa fans seem very pro him? All the best to Villa for the season ahead.

Ok, finally with Dazza's help we have managed to simplify the new registration process and security question.

In order to register a new account, you now have to answer this very tricky security question : 'What is Ipswich's home ground called?

After 7 goes even I managed to get through the process.

Townโ€™s original ground was Broomhill Park Liz and it was the home of ITFC from 1877 to 1883.

Iโ€™m sure thatโ€™s where the old Broomhill Seimming pool is now โ€ฆ. There is a bit of park land that goes from there through to Valley road - but hilly though !

Liz if you read the text in italics. my guess would be that in the 1880โ€™s Broomhill Park went all the way down the side of Valley Road to the traffic lights with Norwich Road with the land subsequently being sold for housing.

Ipswich Town Association Football Club played their first matches from 1877 to 1883 at Broomhill.[2] The land was owned by George Sherrington, who was a driving force in forming and administering the club in its first 20 years. George Sherrington and his brother, William, who were educated at Ipswich School, both played for Ipswich Town Association FC in the 1870s and 1880s.[3] The players used a shed at the Inkerman Pub across the road as a dressing room.[4]

In 1883 when Ipswich Town AFC moved to its ground at Portman Road, the Broomhill ground was used by the rugby club.
