His distribution is terrible ... he gets out of position so often.... he passes back when unnecessary... he can’t cross ( his floaty ball meant for for a 6 ft 4 “ striker we don’t have).
I thought Kenlock was ok when he deputised. Better going forward at least. He got criticised big time by Mick by being soft on a challenge and then dumped, when Knudsen has done far worse.

Re: Jonas
Of course he's f**king serious, there's security issues with this website. Tried to contact David about it some weeks ago but didn't get a reply. Thought it was down to one browser but lo and behold the same situation arises with some three or four others. Here's a standard message when proceeding to log-in. :
Your connection to this site is not secure
You should not enter any sensitive information on this site (for example passwords or credit cards), because it could be stolen by attackers.
Bottom line, if Tangfastic has had it's account violated then seems plausible given the above circumstances. Would strongly urge (one final time) for someone with the authority to implement necessary security measures to safeguard user confidentiality.
Or Don't.

Re: Jonas
He is at that age where he gets maximum wages for a free transfer and if he signs a long term contact without jumping up a level will be close to 30 and into one year contacts territory.
He needs a good year at Town but he still has a massive world cup hangover which wasn't helped by seeing league one players instead of world cup players.
He is obviously very demoralised. Same goes for Bart, who signed a new contract but still demoralised and heavily off form.
The Kickstart we all need is a bit of experience and quality into the squad come Jan

Re: Jonas
I know he is not great and many want him gone but he is very passionate when Freddie scored before going over to Freddie he went to the crowd, I always think he is 100% Ipswich only wish he played better but does link up well with Freddie at times.

Re: Jonas
I think this is perceptive thinking. Hurst's approach and losing much of the star quality in the team last Summer would have created issues for players that considered themselves to be stars (in a relative sense of course). The lack of ambition would have been depressing in the extreme. Especially as MM in previous season had been slowly improving the quality of the squad. Suddenly the quality core had been ripped out and replaced by lottery tickets of players. He needs a good year at Town but he still has a massive would cup hangover which wasn't helped by seeing league one players instead of world cup players.

I too believe that a change in attitude from PL in terms of bringing in some experience will likely lead to improvements in performance from players like Knudsen who must have been despondent at Hurst's approach and for sure asking his agent to put out feelers.

Re: Jonas
There may be more Internationals if they happened to be born in a country with a population of circa 5.8 million, I guess it’s all relative and to be fair he only got a run out in a meaningless match when Denmark were already out of the competition , even Bart made the World Cup Squad of 23 for Poland, a nation with a population of 38m which was even more of an achievement, he certainly wouldn’t get picked if it was a 2019 Competition.

Re: Jonas
I'm not sure if this is being fair Charny, he was picked to start in the biggest match in Denmark's recent history, the last 16 game v Croatia. He was instrumental in the Danes goal and was very solid throughout a match which for some time looked like would be a historic victory.
I'm not totally sold on Jonas as our LB but let's at least give him credit where it is due

Re: Jonas
sorry Dubai but im with the others on this one, Knudsen is average at best. I think Mick did improve him as a defender but his distribution, positional sense is just terrible. He also lacks any kind of pace of technical ability.
For me the reason he looked better in a back 3 in the centre is because he only had to think about pure defending and in terms of his position being in the centre is much easier, when he is left back he just looks lost most of the time and relies on a winger to cover his inability to mark his man. Spence is just as bad on the other side which is why I think we have conceded so many goals.
One area I will give him credit is I do think he is passionate and will put his body on the line, I think his downfall is hes just not very good!

Re: Jonas
We have to play to current squad strengths and if our fullbacks aren't adventurous then we need to penetrate the opposition whilst wearing that condom in a more (obviously) missionary position'y way.
And these days missionary just isn't fashionable.

Re: Jonas
Sorry DB I got my facts wrong, from memory I thought he only played in a meaningless match v France and forgot he played in the Round of 16 v Croatia which of course they only lost on penalties. I accept the reprimand which will teach me to check my facts before posting.Dubai Blue wrote: ↑Wed Dec 19, 2018 7:50 amI'm not sure if this is being fair Charny, he was picked to start in the biggest match in Denmark's recent history, the last 16 game v Croatia. Re: Jonas
I’m not quite understanding the significance of the Denmark thing. Denmark could’ve won the World Cup with Jonas being named man of the tournament. ...... but the fact remains, ——> he’s f**king pish for Ipswich Town FC.
Go back and read over the thread archives. Meaningless long throws changing attack to defence and ultimately the team conceding goals on his side of the pitch on NUMEROUS occasions. He’s not really got much better.
I think the vast majority of ITFC fans couldn’t give two fking hoots about Denmark.
