NFL Time!!!

A place to chat about anything thats not football related. Most of the threads in here are completely pointless which is why people keep coming back and back. As the forum title suggests, feel free to make any post you want on any subject you wish. It also has Adult jokes (so be warned) which is the other reason people keep coming back.

For the first time in NFL history, a team has fired the head coach AND offensive coordinator at the half way mark of the season.

Yes, for those wondering, that team would be everyone's favorite Cleveland Browns. The really funny thing is I am mixing up press conferences between Browns staff and Lambert as they were essentially the same time. It is confusing as hell!

Prediction time. Closest to the correct score wins fk all.

New England Patriots 37
Los Angeles Rams 27

The Pats defeated a very good Chiefs side in the AFC Championship game so I think they deserve it. Should be a good game.

13-3.

Let’s not start a US football prediction league.

Decided to head to bed at 3 quarter time @ 3-3. I know it was a very good game and a good showing of decent defences, but it made me very tired quickly. Prefer offensive US footy.

That’s 6 SB wins for Brady. Great accomplishment, but I wish he’d f*ck off now!

Quoted as saying he's going to play on until he's 45. Fair play if he manages that.

I do wonder if the Pats recent dominance will disappear when the Brady / Belichick partnership breaks up.

Nah, not feeling safe to do so with Brady still around. Funny thing is, he was a backup at Michigan

The Browns went from 17th best to 5th best in three days. Unfookingbelievable!!!!!!

Story out of Cleveland is a woman called 9-1-1 emergency because she heard a woman screaming in the street in front of her house. Police responded and found a 17 year old male flailing his arms and screaming. The officers asked him why he was acting like that and he said OBJ was coming. The officers hadnt heard it and they started screaming too! They then explained it to the caller

It has been a long damn time, but their offense is loaded!

Must admit, after the Lions lost their 8th in a row, lost complete interest.

You think the Packers have a chance? Those New Orleans Saints are looking pretty devastating. The packers would need to get past them to reach the SuperBowl.
A Brees v Rodgers championship game would indeed be worth watching.

I think the Packers will fall just short but with Rodgers, Aaron Jones and the Smith's you just never know, if we click on the day we can destroy anyone, we've got this far without being brilliant so who knows

If they win that Lombardi getting past the likes of the Saints, Ravens & Chiefs then that’d be very impressive.

As a fan of the Detroit Losers, can only hope the entire management team are sacked American style...... so that’d be, —-> FIRED!

I think the Ravens will take the trophy this year...and maybe in another 20 years the Cowboys will win. :astroll:

Mike....... seriously , if the Packers cannot defeat the absolutely useless lions next week, they do not deserve to win the NFL season.
The lions are so bad, their draft picks next year are actually fairly decent. But they’ll find a way to f*ck up the 2020 season.

Lions can even lose properly these days. Trying to Fk up the 2020 draft in a completely meaningless game. Why try and make it close v the Packers? Were the packers resting players? Detroit should’ve played their 4th stringers and been properly as* rammed. Give up with these Lions.
But I’ll be back in 2020 for more f**king misery.

3-13-1 Mike!! Its a fking disgrace for a franchise run by arguably one of the biggest companies on the planet.

It’s not seen as good to root for a division rival in America, so to keep face with fellow lions fans, I must say, Fk the packers!

In all honesty, I do love US Football but I don’t take it too seriously. I’m just thankful you’re a loon and not a Jambo! 👍

Marko, glad to hear I’m not the only one!
Started following the Jets when I went to live in the States just before Super Bowl III. Hadn’t a clue about the sport then but there was all this hype on tv about this bloke called Broadway Joe who had guaranteed that his team would win the game despite them being 18 point underdogs and playing against one of the so-called best teams of all time (Baltimore Colts).
Thought to myself I’m going to watch this and see if this guy is just all talk or can actually walk the walk. Well we all know the outcome and that was me hooked.
