Accept it and move on- Butcher!

Post by hallamblue » Wed Mar 06, 2019 11:58 am

Butcher is bang on the money for me. Some valuable weeks to start the ball rolling if Lambert can “let go” of the futile chances we have of staying up, and instead start the planning process for next season. He could make this a long pre season and really get things as ready as we can be for League One.

The same Butcher who said Garner was a crap signing and then laid into the club for selling Waggy, Garner and Webster.

Maybe , but he’s right in what he’s saying here though isn’t he!

Anyway, shouldn’t you be at work ??

If we did decide to adopt that mindset, I could actually see our results improving.

You still play for the shirt and do your best every game, but if someone takes the over arching pressure away you might just have a bit of constructive fun, enjoy your football and perform better.

Of course if we did then win 3 or 4 games on the bounce then the pressure is back on!!

Ah right, that explains a lot. That must’ve been his advice before the SPL play-off Final v Hamilton. Nice one, Terry.

Usually he is overly negative and uses and excuse to take a pop at the club. But on this occasion he right, let’s embrace it and get on with it.
