That's how I feel about it too, Charny. Also, I think it's fine to use the internet for research. However, I don't think the game would be that much fun if you just look up the quote...not for me anyway. Maybe Marko.

Re: Who said that?
I agree 9. It really is so much fun googling it, finding out who it is, and then just throwing in random names pretending not to know. The buzz I get knowing I'm the only c**t doing it is great! I love it.
Seriously though......., start a "who said that in the movies" game. Obscure quotes that probably wouldn't be found on a google search. Have the same quote running for weeks until someone says, "I actually couldn't give fk who said it to be honest!"

Lol! I bet you got in a lot of trouble when you were a little boy? "Who took the last biscuit?!!"..."I dunno mum, I didn't know we had any biscuits."marko69 wrote: ↑Fri Mar 15, 2019 3:28 pmI agree 9. Re: Who said that?
Holy shoot, 9, that isn't far off the truth. My dad calls me "Russell" as a joke name for "rustle" because it was always me who was raiding the biscuit tin. Even these days at almost 50 years old, when I visit the parents and head for that particular cupboard, my dad will say, "Aye just help yerself, Russell!"

Michael Caine is it. Sounds like something from Zulu or something. Arguable there were more fighting than f**king at Rorke's Drift but worth an attempt in any event.

Patricia Routledge, Keeping Up Appearances. Seen some of series years back and would seem to fit the profile.

Re: Who said that?
Thought it may have been, read female clue and British comedy and quote provided - it kind of fell into place.
Try this for size, shall get back sometime soon to ascertain response.
"The greatest decade in the history of mankind is over. And as Presuming Ed here has so consistently pointed out, we have failed to paint it black"

Re: Who said that?
Not even near. Looking for a far less recognized name and probably awkward for those that haven't seen the film title involved.
#1 From a movie set in the 1960's but released years after.
#2 The actor involved has a very extensive CV / resume but won't be familiar with many. Still working to present day.
#3 From a film title with many quotes / memorable phrases. One of the lead cast died in recent time.
