Re: Chambo signs new contract
Very happy with Chambers signing a new contract as the kids won’t be able to do what we need next season on their own.

https://www.twtd.co.uk/ipswich-town-new ... son-dinner. Unbelievable. The captain who took us to League 1 for the first time in 62 years.

Re: Chambo signs new contract
He's not being honoured for us getting relegated! He's being honoured for his commitment to the club, for all the good things he has done for this club and for the continued support and help he gives the club and its youth.
I see nothing wrong with this at all! in this day and age, where fans constantly slag off players for their lack of loyalty, we should be applauding this man and what he has stood for. His best days are behind him, I agree. But holding him totally, fully and alone responsible for our relegation is disingenuous and wrong.

I thought it would be Bluemike who would bite first. Since he has met me, I think he is on to my wind ups.

Perhaps you should label your fishing posts with some symbol so I can realise and not respond.derick_ipsw wrote: ↑Wed Apr 10, 2019 2:54 pmI thought it would be Bluemike who would bite first. Since he has met me, I think he is on to my wind ups.

Nic you know me well enough to know my thoughts of Chambo, possibly the best captain we've ever had.

Deeko Boy, at least wait and see where the dinner is happening before having an opinion on it. Might just be fish 'n' chips down the seafront wi Mevans and a seagull.
