Shouldn't pose a problem by the time the season rolls in.

Could take 8-weeks to heal...longer depending on how bad the break is.

Well maybe Chambers shouldn’t have played with a broken wrist, because he was looking very ragged towards the end of the season. It’s his legs I’m worried about as he was getting caught out more and more. I’m well past the stage of thinking that we MUST have Chambo on the pitch.
It’s time that other players stood up and offered some leadership. I wouldn’t mind bringing in a hardened, experienced CB or enforcer-type central midfielder who could take over the team captaincy. Chambo could do the club captaincy bit and focus on his playing. He’ll still give 100% . You can tell Chambo was embarrassed about receiving the player of the season award and being asked to do fist pumps. Good bloke who could still offer something on the pitch, but I think Lambert needs to do the decent thing for him and tell him to focus on his playing and not having the weight of the team on his shoulders.
