JAYSUS H FKN CHRIST!!!! The double standards is absolutely incredible. Native North Americans (what’s left of them) must feel really pi$$ed off when they hear this rhetoric.
TRUMPET, stfu and build your “stupid a$$” wall if it’s that important. Stupid C**T.
Its the 5th of July now, Saint. Do another quote.

Re: Who said that?
I didn't type all that out to re-do another round. Incidentally it's not Trump if that's what anyone was alluding to. Can't abide the pompous self-righteous pr*ck, wanted Hilary to get in but what's done is done. Certainly wouldn't select that f*ck for a quote round.
Look, here are some pointers to make this pass quickly.
#1 This is someone who was involved within a certain industry in sports entertainment
#2 They were a former champion of their respective sport
#3 They are now retired
#4 They were often characterized as a heel (or non fan-favorite)
#5 They were once part of a team or participated with others to reach their objectives
If this hasn't passed within 48 hours then will disclose the answer. (Although will check back in the meantime for updates and such)

Re: Who said that?
I have no idea on this one at all, Saint. But the Trumpet must’ve read his/her autobiography.

Re: Who said that?
They may have played Golf, but certainly not in a professional capacity. Far as aware they have not released an autobiography, although they have put out books in their name on specialized subjects. Not Hope Solo to add to it.
# 6 Took nine years to achieve a championship after starting in their chosen industry
#7 Could be associated with a certain attire accessory
#8 First title success occurred in Norfolk, Virginia
#9 They have won other honors in their sport other than a standalone World Championship
#10 This is / was someone who was usually recognized by their initials than rather full name
Within 24 hours will do the right thing and disclose the answer if this hasn't been resolved.

The answer was John Bradshaw Layfield. This has been underway long enough.

I knew it was a wrestler, but I couldn't pin it down(no pun intended)...I really did. Not that it matters.
Have another turn SJ, it was fun trying to crack your code.

Re: Who said that?
No real point in running this as there's nowhere near enough participation but in any event :
"The Champions League Final in Barcelona. As soon as the final whistle went the emotions of that season and the emotions of that game just all started hitting you at the same time. The way the game went summed up the season really. We could have won nothing that season and we ended up winning everything. And about ten hours after the final whistle it all culminated in me falling off a table doing an Elvis Presley impersonation at six o'clock in the morning"

Re: Who said that?
No to that response.
The answer will lie in the quote, at least enough to narrow things down and finalize a suitable name.
Think British. Think special achievements and long-standing players of recognition. Now retired.
Check back in say 10 hours although no surprise if no further action on this.

Re: Who said that?
Roy Keane's off-field behavior may surprise you. Once participated in a bar crawl in Nottingham, attired as one of the seven dwarfs. Guessing it were the snide, vindictive and resentful one.
In any event that's not who you're looking for. Last response was nearest. Not Sheringham, but a member of Manchester United's last of the century European Cup winning squad. This will be resolved soon enough.

Not Phelan or Andrew Cole
Believe the name you require may have tried their hand at management since retiring or at least been involved in a coaching capacity. The player in question is not English incidentally.

Footballer:
"I suppose if I had my time again I would refuse it and stay at Fulham because I thoroughly enjoyed my time there, and secondly I would have taken it on my own terms."

Not Luke, although I'm sure he was influenced in some way by this person's ability rather than position.

Re: Who said that?
There were a player who spent their entire career at Fulham but not sure of the name in question. Johnny Haynes or someone (?)
We'll go with that, could be the answer, could be not. Sounds like someone who spent their entire playing time at one club and could have departed for a more illustrious team in search of honors and recognition but remained loyal. Matthew Le Tissier with Southampton would be one prime example.

Re: Who said that?
The footballer in question achieved his recognition at a much bigger club than Fulham. He also played for his country.
