Just looking at Saturdays weather forecast and looks like it will be seriously windy - i know that works for both teams but hope it doesn't spoil the occasion with some 'random occurrences'...

Both teams are situated on the East Coast. Did you ever attend the old Roker Park venue they had ? On occasion it resembled an F5 when the Beaufort Scale went into high figure. Point being wouldn't envisage some adverse weather condition putting a stop to proceedings. Seen Town feature in all weather known to mankind so whatever is thrown your way at the weekend, should be business as usual et cetera.

Can’t wait for tomorrow, an occasion to enjoy regardless of the result. 2-0 home win would do nicely.

13 Ipswich win votes vs 2 for Sunderland. Liking the optomism, but don't think we'd see that on a neutral forum. I make Sunderland favourites but I hope I'm very wrong.

When you look at Sunderland’s team I find it hard to believe they are favourites for the league. They must have an awsome cohesiveness and play style as the players are bang average.
Pretty much what I was alluding to in the preview notes, like you I must be missing something

I have two golf pals now in their 60’s who are life long Mackams, are very knowledgable about football and follow Sunderland avidly, both consider this current Sunderland team to be the worst in their lifetime. ( that sounds familiar)

I don’t think we have too much to fear especially considering their away form last season, but that said I still expect a very close game 1-0 or 1-1. Let’s hope it’s the former.

That's encouraging then Andy, I must confess on paper they look nothing but then again I don't suppose we do to others either. Hopefully home advantage can tell.

B&Q I'd say. Money off if they've got a Tradepoint card.

I got Radio Suffolk on - or haven't - signal breaks up and can't receive a goddamn thing. Can ascertain a one goal lead through Garbutt but is the team deserving of it's lead. Another win would be mighty fine and chance of first position with it but you got to play out the second period before anything is decided. Following action is tricky but would hope the team hold out for a victory.

I've got Suffolk on and it's perfect (on the net) 11 shots to 1 I just hope we can score another Sunderland will surely play better second half.

Doing well, but need that second.

Sunderland are sh*te. Really hope we keep up the tempo and don’t let Sunderland back in.

Pity about Garbutt- he’s looking the part.

Just read that after the success (in popularity only) of Sunderland til I die on Netflix, they filmed jack Ross's entire last season also. There's two documentaries that didn't go to plan. Be more interesting viewing though.

Done with any radio commentary and went straight for score update. Disappointed to learn the opposition leveled it, seems unfair as we have created greater chances if stats are correct.

Frustrating to lose out on two points but wait for game analysis to get the bigger picture of what occurred today. This division is going to be anything but easy but one game at time. No sense in running before you can walk in a new league.
