Nice article about Will Norris here. I live in Royston and watched him play for them many times when I ran my under 16 side. Hes a lovely lad and I really hope he plays well tonight. Would be nice to have him really challenging Holy.

As soon as he signed for us he confirmed exactly what you have said and told me not only is he a good goalkeeper but a great person as well.

That's good to hear. My eldest is a GK and he really looked up to Will when he was at Royston even though Will was only 19 at the time.Shed on tour wrote: ↑Tue Aug 13, 2019 10:26 amSomebody I know through following England is a mate of Norris.nicscreamer wrote: ↑Tue Aug 13, 2019 9:03 amhttps://www.twtd.co.uk/ipswich-town-new ... -long-road

Second best in every department, woeful defending for the first and dubious penalty for the second. Emmanuel just not good enough and playing a winger as the loan striker is ridiculous but saving Norwood for the league is totally understandable.

Only listening on the radio but it sounds bad. I would not expect a win but despite their injuries I'd have hoped Judge, Huws, Edwards and Dozzell might have shown a little bit of class. It sounds as though the last 3 have been pretty anonymous and Judge has no end product.

Re: Luton Town vs Ipswich Town (EFLC) Preview & Matchday Thread
At the end of the day we haven't come to win this game, its obvious, we have a winger as the lone striker, Two wingers one a debut making kid and the other has been injured for months, we have Judge behind the striker, he's playing catch up, we have Huws and Dozzell in the middle one out for months the other out for years, at the bsck we have Two inexperienced Full backs and Two CB's who have never played together plus a keeper making his debut....and we expect anything different to what we are seeing ? Its all experimental

Was surprised when I saw the strength of the side put out, thought we were after the win and some momentum.
Wow, sounds so bad though...

You have to admire and feel for the fans that travelled for this match.

Luton aren't playing with their strongest team either. 11 changes from Luton tonight !
I expected a defeat but not that heavily. The manner of the goals we have conceded is worrying.
Yes I know it's about avoiding injuries but not happy with being totally dominated by Luton reserves. The question now is how our squad is going to cope with 3 league games next week.
Dobra's goal nice though.

I made the point last season about how we committed more fouls than the opposition week after week. Tonight we gave away 25 free kicks.... which included the second and third goals.

This the result I wanted, get out of this tin pot cup and concentrate on the league, and going by this performance PL certainly needs another 3 players in to strengthen our squad, looks like and I hope Wilson will be back in the defence against Peterborough, as Chambers played tonight, lets get back to normal now and thrash the posh COYB

Re: Luton Town vs Ipswich Town (EFLC) Preview & Matchday Thread
Only got the score a moment ago, there was a brief expectation we could have progressed but nothing new. Seems the manager and players couldn't be bothered so why should we as supporters view it any different. Never again will I witness this club win a domestic cup, I realize it will enough but in truth it's been that way for some considerable time. Why the f*ck does the team even bother to participate in these events.
Lo and behold got news also that Celtic have somehow lost at home to an opposition you couldn't even recognize, elimination from the European Cup with it. It's horseshit, but once again, nothing new.

I know there’ll be discussions about if Chambers should play, but fully expect him to line up with Woolfenden on Saturday. I think Wilson is only seen as backup and Woolfenden has done more than enough to keep his place. I only think Chambers place will come under threat when Toto is fit and if he continues these errors. I think Chambers must realise its getting towards the time when his place is in doubt. I don’t think he’ll be dropped, but he’s using up his credit points.

How did Chambo play last night? If Wilson was sh*te, then Chambo HAS to start Saturday.
What I do hope for, is some goals from Norwood and Jackson. I feel once they hit the net, they will start getting more and more. The longer they don't score the harder it will get

And so were the rest of the squad, bet they had instructions from PL to lose, so just stroll around and enjoy the kick aboutBluemike wrote: ↑Tue Aug 13, 2019 11:57 pmWilson was sh*te tonightashfordblue wrote: ↑Tue Aug 13, 2019 11:07 pmThis the result I wanted, get out of this tin pot cup and concentrate on the league, and going by this performance PL certainly needs another 3 players in to strengthen our squad, looks like and I hope Wilson will be back in the defence against Peterborough, as Chambers played tonight, lets get back to normal now and thrash the posh COYB

Chambers was ok, nothing more nothing less, aside from Dobra you can't rave about anyone, Rowe was ok, the rest average at best.nicscreamer wrote: ↑Wed Aug 14, 2019 9:08 amHow did Chambo play last night? If Wilson was sh*te, then Chambo HAS to start Saturday.
