I think it'll be a tough game. They have been hard to score against this season and we (fans) need to be patient. The team need to move the ball quickly, 1 or 2 touch football and have players at the top end running at them, but we aren't great at either of these things.

A close result, if there's a winner it'll be by the odd goal, but I reckon it'll be 1-1.

I wonder what sort of game we will get today? With Shrewsbury’s defensive record it looks like it could well be a rerun of the Wimbledon game with Town having lots of possession trying to break down a stubborn defence. If so, again it will be our fullbacks who will by key.

KVY should give us that extra drive going forward when we switch the ball that Donacien clearly lacks. I hope we start with the same team that finished against Wimbledon with the exception of KVY and possibly Chambers.

Let’s hope for an early town goal. If we score early can see us winning by 2 or 3.

I think that is the key, we need an early goal because the whole concept of the game will change, I think you are bang on in that it will be like Wimbledon all over again if we don't, goals have been hard to come by in their games this season except for one so it could be a low scoring affair, that said I have predicted us to win by Two goals so fingers crossed.

KVY will definitely give us more going forward, I was impressed with him in the friendly back in July and that is the only time i've seen him but apparently he was impressive at Bolton but hard to judge on that opposition. I can see Woolfenden coming back in today and I am hopeful that Georgiou will start as he looked really good last time out. This would be my line up :-

.............................Holy............................

KVY...........Chambers.......Woolfenden.........Kenlock

................Downes..............Skuse...............

...........Rowe......................................Georgiou

....................Jackson...............Norwood.............

I would have judge in place of Rowe only coz judge is more likely to unlock a tight defence, Rowe better away from home for me.

I think this will be a game where Town fans have a critical role to play. Breaking down a very good League One defence will be a challenging job for the players and the last thing they need is an inpatient crowd on their backs. Get the home fans behind the team like the travelling fans do when Town play away and the fans could be “worth a goal”. We may only need the one if we can keep a clean sheet.

Prediction 1-0 Town.

Spot on Andy and thankfully so far this season the atmosphere at home has been excellent too, a few grumbles at HT against Wimbledon but nothing negative aside from that.

Agree with a lot of the above. An early goal would really help.

Despite their excellent start to the season, it's games like this where I worry about the Skuse - Downes central pairing. Their break-up play has been tremendous and they generally pass well and keep possession. But at times like this we need someone (Not sure who!) who can see the killer pass and make it quickly.

Let's hope the fans keep patient. I think they will.....unless we go behind.

Settled a few nerves if nothing else. Jackson again wasn't it. Actually looking at the squad assembled today it appears a strong team or maybe giving plaudits that aren't really deserving. I like having Kettle as referee, if you'll forgive the analogy I hope he don't whistle too often out there today.

Got a bit of a reputation as a card happy official, likes to stamp his authority et cetera. It's all about the result though and confident we can build on this lead and get out of sight before the interval. Damn it it's two now, Norwood with a penalty, could be another standout score for the team. I'd like to see in truth this opposition receive a substantial beating.

Half time is here maybe the opposition aren't as bad as the scoreline suggests. Caught game action through Radio Suffolk and in no means is this contest over. Either we'll raise our game and add further strikes or it'll become stifled with no further action. It's not so much winning, I'd like to see continuation of our early start and win with flair and determination. Last week was something unique, not expecting another five but would be good to see nonetheless.

We just got a third goal out there. Game is academic now there's no way they can salvage a result from this. Retain top position and Lambert should - or will - receive a manager of the month accolade. Near 20,000 today which is impressive and should keep harmony going as these early days of the season remain underway.

Jackson '2, Norwood pen 10, Downes 69 3 - 0 time remaining about 15.

Game's over we got a three goal win with no reply. Was skeptical the team could make a proper impression in this league but early indication looks promising. Not getting carried away by any extent as this season still has a distance to run but at this moment in time you can't dispute.

Game went off the boil after the first period but with a match official in kettle there's a certain irony to it. Holy made some impressive stops, the forwards are finding their feet and pleased to beat this opposition by comprehensive score. Could have ideally been more but players appeared to be a bit complacent after the first two strikes. Disgruntled there's believe a f**king international break to put an interim stop to this progress but once again this is a fine start that many (during pre-season) could not have envisaged. Catch the game report at a later time.

The stats suggest we took our chances well with 3 goals from 5 shots on target. Nice to see three different goal scorers too, always good for player confidence.
