Clue One, probably one of the furthest British football grounds from the Arctic Circle
Clue Two, there ground was named after a large Stone near the ground.

Clue;- 3. leaving Ebbsfleet (Gravesend) Sail due East via the Thames Estuary, chuck a right into the North Sea, Turn Right into the English channel and sail due West, where you should come across this City/Town, unless you get sunk by the Dover ferry,

First I thought it was Molineux home of The Wolves but that’s nowhere near Charlton so I’ll agree with Bluemike and say The Old Highbury Stadium and Arsenal.
