Just saw the highlights, looked like we had enough chances to have won the game, as Derick said Folami looked very handy, beaten by a freak goal, no blame attached for that one.

Isaac Newton must’ve had his equations wrong.

Over 40 yards out, and a shot with enough gravity attached to it to dip over a 2.06m (6ft 9”) keeper? Doesn’t make sense. Need to see it to understand.

Who put Holys feet in the soil like garden posts?
Shot? that's being generous, it was no more than a robust challenge.
Serious? What, was Holy on his phone at the time? Need to see this.

Genuine question. Would most keepers be beaten by that? I'm thinking if that beats Tomas Holy, it beats every keeper on the planet except a 6ft 10" keeper, (Cos, he was juuuuuust too short! )

That goal was a fluke if ever I’ve seen one, but hey these things happen.

Imagine if forums were about in the early 70's when a believe Chelsea player "scored" against us when the ball hit the outside netting and rebounded into play. Younger generation won't have an idea but one of the most famous goals against the club, you know, that we conceded.

Bizarre incident with Holy in present time but begs the question would Bialkowski or Gerken prevented it. Nothing game all said, both teams had qualified for the next rounds if correct. There isn't much else to add to this issue.

I remember Jason Cundy scoring for Spurs against us in the 1992/93 season with somewhat similar goal. Total fluke

John Wark scored i believe with a header. Things happen i guess

It was a fluke really, so nothing for anyone to get uptight about. As you say , just one of those things.

The league game in a months ( jesting) time is more important......

So Peterborough away it is then !!!! Makes the preview I sent to Frosty this morning look psychic !!! Another meeting with the gobshite Ferguson, better than a trip to Exeter or Bristol though.

Was looking through the progress sheets for this years event and some of the standings make for bizarre reading. A number of teams in #1 position or have qualified that you wouldn't expect. You got names like Arsenal, Tottenham, Newcastle, Aston Villa, Liverpool and Fulham that failed to progress from their respective groups, behind teams of far less stature.

Does that imply their academies are sh*t or their kids aren't up to much or perhaps they just didn't try to make an impact. Can't find any news for the second rounds but if a trip to Peterborough is correct then they've won all three games involved including victory over some Arsenal kids. Should I be worried or reading too much into it. Thought for a time we could maybe win it outright but after consideration maybe that won't come to pass.
