I wouldn’t worry Shed, we’ll no doubt field a weak team with one up front , so going through won’t be an issue I suspect .

Don’t think I will even bother with the Coventry replay.hallamblue wrote: ↑Mon Dec 02, 2019 9:16 pmI wouldn’t worry Shed, we’ll no doubt field a weak team with one up front , so going through won’t be an issue I suspect .
Once I would never have missed a FA cup tie whether it be home or away, now the way teams treat the competition including us It has made a joke of it.
Will go to Rovers for the league game in March though.

Said similar to Mike at the game on Sunday (when we were looking round an empty stadium), Clubs just take the p*ss out of the competition now don’t they! Town had a decent away following despite this though , and the line up from us was half decent on paper. Not sure if Coventry side was full strength or not , as I’m not familiar with their team.

It is a great pity that it’s come to this, Shed. Even though I’m north of the border, FA Cup days were the absolute best back in the day, (my day anyway, late 70s/80s) ..... I loved the first weekend in January —-> FA Cup 3rd Rd.
Having said that, I remember vividly 1981, 4th Rd replay v Shrewsbury at PR,.... gates (2) & Wark, 3-0 win, ...... jumping around my living room like a wee daftie. AND ——> i didn’t get that result until the Tuesday because I lived in Geelong, Australia at the time. Newspaper had british weekend scores on tuesdays
I assume a few of you guys were at that game?

Re: Another Crap Draw
Just managed to get a proper look at the 3rd round proper, properly.
Alex “he is the one who’s moley” Neil hosting the Canaries @ deepdale is interesting. That’ll be a home win on my coupon that day.
Incidentally.... Chesney Hawkes, “I am the one and only”....... song for Neil, “he is the one who’s Moley.”
I personally have missed ALL of Alex Neil’s press conferences, even in his Hamilton days due to singing at the TV, “YOU ARE, THE ONE WHOS MOLEY!”

Its sad but I am with you Shed. I couldn't care less about the FA Cup (nor the Premier League if I am honest). The ONLY concern and focus this season is promotion - simple.... and don't even start me on the diving, cheating west brom thing.... i love football most of the time for how it makes me feel but I hate it in bigger amounts for what it has become...
