Private message to judges:
Do not allow Derick to win it again......., that'd be 3 times and we'd have to send him the Trophy to keep.

Seriously though, to my friends, and a couple of my sons friends ----- > i'm a pain in the a$$. (No? Really?) Hounding them for scores. I can screen capture emails and post them to Frosty if there is a "rigging" rumour? But then I'd have to work out how to hide others email addresses. Danger of bribes!

Its all just a bit fun at the end of the day. Humour has a tendency to take a back seat on many forums, as Ando alluded to, his quote, "not feeling it this year" .... I understood that YEARS ago when The Don struggled to have people post funny stuff. This cup is just my idea to try and add a bit incentive. And its good to have a name on it, but its even better to get tons of funny stuff posted in amongst the petty agro. Thats my take.

To be honest, it should be the Individual Prediction League competition that should have a decent trophy going.
Derick is so funny it’s putting people off. Tbh his normal posts make me laugh even more! 😉

However, see this finger, there is only one that counts.

Even though I haven't posted on the caption for ages I do enjoy reading them especially the funny ones ( though they are in short supply😂😂). Please keep it going Marko- we here in sunny Jordanstown salute you.

Throwing toys out of the pram ? Do you take everything in life so seriously or do you have a joke sometimes ? Bit unfair to suggest Marko would rig it too.
Obviously have a joke that's why I have won twice. Marko is laughing more than you I feel.

That's why I don’t enter the normal ones because I would get 9 pts every week. Unlike your attempts.

Excellent. Caption comp SMACK TALK! Awesome stuff.

Remember the comp runs until the scoring needs done......., so in the horrible scenario of a Stanley defeat today......, once the dust settles, the picture is still there to be captioned providing you haven't used your two attempts. If something in your head is just too funny though......, edit a caption attempt away, and add your new one.

Defeat caption:
TWTD interview guy: (Irate) WTF HAPPENED, PAUL? SERIOUSLY?
Lambert: (after long pause) Pull my finger.

Holy our keeper must be very disappointed had he made the errors Norris had I'm sure he would have been dropped.😬

Lamberts clueless when it comes to GK selection. He definitely dislikes Tomas Holy and doesn’t like selecting him.

Started really well, should be 2 up, controlling the midfield makes such a difference. We need to put this to bed asap

Superb stuff.

Sunderland currently 3 up on free falling Wycombe is decent as well.

Blimey, Rotherham 3-0 up at Oxford United...and Sunderland 3-0 v Wycombe ... what a day so far.

I can’t believe how well Rotherham are doing, it would probably have suited us better for Oxford to win but hey ho, beggars can’t be choosers. At least they’ll be a tad jaded when we turn up on Tuesday with an opportunity of putting 5 points between us.

Must be the Marcus Evans effect! :) Looks like a different team.

Plenty of bite in midfield and Judge seems to be enjoying the number 10 role.

And also Norwoods missed two great chances and Jackson missed a one on one.

Accrington’s defence looks in tatters at times. We should get the three points ( at last) but, I just hope the players go for more - they look like they’re enjoying this and the crowd deserve a real 90 minute performance and a big win.
