Caption 1 Chap puts hand up to ask.......Marko, have you changed the Judges from last year? Because this year they seem to give 5 points for posting last on the thread? Also i thought you got 5 points for being.........well funny.
You seriously using that as caption 1? Because that’s not funny. :D

Seriously though, judges are pretty much the same apart from one new guy. Same judges that have won you the trophy twice in the last three years.
Those top two for the Peterborough were actually unanimous. The 5 pointer is funny when you look at the picture and what was written , tying it all in with being top of the league. Funny stuff. Well, it had us all chuckling away. It’s good when harmless humour gets us all laughing. Was a good mix of harmless and “bottle” shenanigans from Aylesbury.

And if there is a link with posting last and winning points, that’s unintentional. Shed on Tour won the 5pts in the Lincoln preview and he posted first or second.
Don’t really want to put a deadline on a comedy thing. Takes away the fun.
FTR, as I’ve stated before. The scores are gathered usually on a Thursday evening for me so feel free to caption the pictures through the week after the game, obviously 2 captions maximum.
5 pts in the bag then.

If Lambert's motivational skill ever needed putting to the test, this is it. On the back of the last two defeats & contrary to what we read I find if difficult to believe that self-doubt has not crossed the minds of some of the players. Lambert has to build them up like never before if his team is going to be successful today.

A draw will be a welcome point. COYB.

Holy f*ck! He’s back.

Looks like 3 CB’s as per usual with Donacien / Kenlock as wing backs.

Skuse and Nolan in midfield with Downes. Jackson benched and Norwood and Keane up front.

Looks a bit defensive, but maybe not surprising after the Posh game.

Sadly Barmy I think motivating the players is Lamberts biggest weakness, especially for the bigger occasions against the top teams where the players never seem to be properly prepared and have really under performed.

Was thinking the same about the defensive feel with Nolan in ahead of Dozzell. This could easily end up 0-0, can’t see where the creativity will come from.

The best chance we might have is from a set piece, but no Garbutt or Judge. Who would take the corners, for example? Downes?

I guess we’re playing for respect and 0-0 would be a result but it’s a dangerous game to play. No surprise to see Holy back after Norris’s f*ck up last Saturday and I guess Norwood get a start following his goal albeit a penalty. I thought he might start today after a run of sub appearances.

As much as I’d love to see us pick up a point today I can’t see it happening, but neither do I expect to see us take another drubbing.

At least we have a bloody keeper today, here for the duration with any luck. We will miss Jacksons pace up front. I dont see it as defensive, before Nolan got injured he was the Midfielder who was getting into the box.

It probably says something that the choice of set-piece taker is brought up. Can’t really see us scoring in open play with that formation..... but we’ll see. Can’t see this being a pretty game, but we might sneak something.

Nolan is a bit more combative, that was my reasoning. Enjoy the game.

Kind of relieved we got a change of keeper today. Norris has say, come in for criticism in recent weeks and feel a bit more assurance that Holy gets an opportunity. Viewed the rest of the line-up and it seems a capable squad on paper. A number of names on the bench that could be utilized and make impact if needs be.

Kind of alarming how the team has fallen away from first position and in truth we got a lot of ground to make up. Victory today while not imperative would add morale to objectives but it'll be a tough trip out there. Hope we can take something from today, players need to redeem themselves to certain extent following a spate of unsatisfactory scores and performance just recent.

Couldn’t find a live stream but following the game as best I can. We certainly seem to be having a go which is really encouraging and must have taken the Black Cats by surprise. With two of my golf pals life long Sunderland fans a lot of pride is at stake let alone 20€, anything out of this will be gratefully received Boys.

Sounds like we've been killing them if the stats are anything to go by while Iain Dowie on sky reckons all the real chances to us, not scored though.

Playing really well. Far the best side. Knocking it about nicely and movements good. Pity we couldn’t score. Nice to see.

Keane looks sharp and Norwoods putting himself about. I just wish Kenlock would trust himself and shoot first time. Couple of times he dithered in good positions.

Can we put in another good 45?

Sounds like Sunderland have just missed an open goal in the first few minute of the second half (Lynden Gooch (Sunderland) hits the left post . Rebound shot straight into Holy’s arms (Charlie Wyke (Sunderland), by all accounts it should have been 1-0 Sunderland. Clearly a let off !
