Didn't hear Saturday's game as I had a 3 day break in Malta. Back by the radio for tonight's 3-0 victory.

If we’re going to stay in the promotion race we need three wins in our next four games v Wimbledon (A) , Burton Albion (H), Oxford United (H) and Blackpool (A), we have to believe this is possible and If it’s achieved we’re back in the hunt.

Anything less and we’re staring in the face of a slump into mid table mediocrity which would be painful for all of us given our positive start to the current campaign.

All is not lost yet, don’t give up guys.
Sorry Charny, but I can't see three wins from those games:

Wimbledon Draw
Burton Draw
Oxford Loss
Blackpool Loss

Well apart from Burton who’s form over the past five games equals our 6 points from a possible 15, the thee other teams all have worse form.
Oxford have 5/15, Wimbledon 4/15 and Blackpool 3/15 .....
Town have by far had the three most difficult fixtures in pointless games, Rotherham United, Peterborough United and Sunderland, all in the top 6 and all with the current best form in League One taking, 12, 15 & 10 points respectively from their last five games.

I assume an attacking line up with two wing backs or am I being too optimistic?

Does Earl play left back I don’t even know? Or wing back? Woolfenden and Chambers have even been getting forward this year a bit. Total football!

Just checking out Josh Earl, appears he’s also played as a striker and scored two goals in Prestons FA Youth Cup campaign.

Could be useful up front at 6ft 5in.

Just spotted Sunderland already three up against similar opposition, Sunderland 3 - 0 Rochdale.

Highlights our current weakness.

Our strikers have been out of it through the start of 2020!
Waiting for them to get back from Christmas dinner.

3 5 2 Earl left wing back. All the possession no cutting edge Norwood hit the bar from 8 yards otherwise it all comes to nothing when we get near or put cross into the box. £10 again I pay ifollow why do I put myself through it? :?

Apart from Sunderland we’re not alone struggling to score tonight, Coventry, Portsmouth, Oxford, Peterborough and Wycombe are all goalless at half time.

Even with a win tonight, as it stands at the moment we would stay 7th. How much we need a goal as we really can’t afford to drift away from the top six.

I just feel our midfield 3 are too defensive. Downes breaks forward but Skuse never has. And I've never really rated Huws. We should get at least 2 in the box to support the strikers.

That’s why I like Garbutt in the team, any news on his injury ?
