Re: Ipswich Town vs Burton Albion Preview & Matchday Thread
Strong starting squad but things rarely go to plan with this club. Weather conditions may play a factor there but can't use that as an excuse should we fail. Opposition open to the elements also as are a great many other teams participating this day.
We should win but a number of problems exist. Depends how much the team wants and open to the prospect of a promotion challenge.
Lo and behold Burton have just scored ? Don't know what happened there but appears we're behind. Not the best of starts but still ample time to rectify things.

....and Will Keane had a good chance to score in the 4th min and by all accounts should have buried it.
Could have done without going one down, just hope the fans don’t get on top of the players, that really won’t help.

I know this isn’t the right time to talk captions but i was having way too much valentines sex with the wife and forgot to post a caption contest pic. If you believe that, you’ll believe Mevans will have ITFC in the EPL by 2022.
Two pictures in the next preview.

1-1 Alan Judge, that’s more like it.
According to Sky we should have scored earlier through Kayden Jackson.

Team's level which is a relief, thought for a time the opposition would add to their lead. In ninth position as it stands, were we really top a few weeks back. Only six points in it from here to first place but so many teams challenging for the automatic promotion slots, it's going to be tough.
Just ride this out to the interval and let things fall as they may. Would be real disappointed if it stays as it is, we need victory here, simple as.

This is a new "thing"......, showing fight and determination to come back. Keep it going, DO NOT go defensive.

Jackson’s goal assisted by Tomas Holy not for the first time this season I believe. Definitely No 1 Keeper.

f**king A we got a lead. Jackson with one similar to the Judge effort in reports are accurate. Unable to stay with this second period but that goal could be huge towards eventual score. Don't want to read reports later they got back into it or even took a victory, sure that won't happen. Lot of added time here, just waiting to confirm the first 45 are up. There you have it. Back in the play-off positions also.

Not at the game or following it much today get out of the car and we are 1 down and all Burton, get back in a bit later and 2-1

No wonder my wee cousin Pete is bald. Supporting Coventry City must be tough.

Re: Ipswich Town vs Burton Albion Preview & Matchday Thread
Despite bossing this, others are winning at the top so we’re out of playoff spots but no matter this sets a very healthy precedent for all the home games left this season
