That will be hard to swallow for the Evans haters, a club legend coming out with such nonsense lol.

I haven’t any problems with the way Evans funded the team last year. He paid for a massive squad which under-performed. That’s down to the manager and players.
I’ve never thought Evans as a shyster - just someone who got burnt early on and lost interest. And we’re kind of stuck together. If he’s bankrolling us during this period then credit to him.

Didn't answer the last topic, not a season ticket holder and both Evans related so went with this.
Right off the bat have never taken to the owner, Yes he makes these sporadic announcements at times that deem necessary but never much in between. Always seems the same, team suffers on the field and endures all manner of other score setbacks : the fanbase rise in unison and can't castigate the name enough : undertakes reassurances or so long as "he's keeping the club afloat" / out of administration risk etc it (Evans) moves in mysterious ways. Damned it you do, damned if you don't.
Got respect for Holland and he's telling as sees fit. You can label the owner as savior or however you wish to underline it. Maybe that's how it is and people should be grateful. Falling into the third league (however) was far from coincidence and arguably the culmination of years of decline. We got stability once again but never really going in any true direction on the field least not the required one.
