Wigan 7 up at half time!

Post by AzzurroMark » Tue Jul 14, 2020 6:55 pm

Had to zoom in on my phone to see if it was a seven or a one!
Only Half-time and it is Wigan 7 Hull 0.
Wigan have rather been in the doldrums i guess, but what the hell has happened to Hull City?

So Wigan could still take the. 12 point hit for administration and still avoid relegation. Fair play to their fighting spirit.

8 now after 65 mins.

I rather suspect that if they are more than 12 points clear at season end the EFL will be suitably vindictive and start them on -12 next season.

They are only waiting now to see if the deduction will take them down given they have already said if they went down under their own steam they would do them the 12 points next season in League 1.

Can remember Hull in the bottom league bringing in say 3,000 at Boothferry Park or whatever it was back then. Didn't know this game had even occurred until seeing the subject heading. Few years back Spurs hit them for nine or something during the last decade ? It were believe on here, may have commented on it at the time.

Feel forced to view final score now, lo and behold they only got one more in the second period, got to feel for any unfortunates who arrived only at the interval. You would have been hoping the setback would be kept in motion hoping to eradicate the 0 - 9 loss we got in Manchester but still waiting on that event. Someone somewhere will score a 10 in the EPL with no reply, I don't want us holding such notorious record.
