Spurs match
Paid my £10 and will be watching what should be a sterner test for Town. Will be interesting to see what the line up will be.

Re: Spurs match
Starting line up.
Town: Cornell, Vincent-Young, Nsiala, Woolfenden, Ward (c), Skuse, Bishop, Judge, Dobra, Edwards, Drinan. Subs: Holy, Donacien, Chambers, Ndaba, Kenlock, McGavin, Downes, Dozzell, Lankester, Jackson, Sears, Smith, Folami, El Mizouni, Nolan.
Interesting that Ward takes over captaincy (vice-captaincy) over Skuse.
I suppose it’s 2 x 45 minute games with two totally different teams.

Re: Spurs match
Spurs starting line-up:
Tottenham: Lloris (c), Foyth, Alderweireld, Davies, Sessegnon, Winks, Hojbjerg, Gedson, Dele, Lucas, Son. Subs: Hart, Gazzaniga, Carter-Vickers, Bowden, Clarke, White, Cirkin, Scarlett, Devine
That’s a strong Spurs side. Erm..... looking at this line up - are we taking this seriously? Can’t see Drinan getting much luck up front.

Re: Spurs match
Nsiala & Drinan are the surprises for me but I guess Drinan deserves another crack after his impressive two goal performance the other night. I think there will be a fair few changes along the way.

Carved open for the Third, the gulf in class is so evident.

I thought it had all been a bad dream and we were still in the Prem when I looked and saw out next 2 matches as being Spurs and the West Ham. Then the match started........

Re: Spurs match
After a torrid opening 25 minutes we have improved with Dobra, Bishop & Drinan all doing ok but the class divide is clear. Terrible defending all round for the second. Again for me Alan Judge is just non existent, hardly had a touch.

Re: Spurs match
Going forward we are hopeless. Messing around again outside are own box nowhere to go. Gifted Spurs 2 goals with mistakes by Drinan and Cornell. This way of playing is not suited for lg1. Could easily be 6. We are the Colchester this time. To be expected though.

Re: Spurs match
Much better in this second half and playing some decent stuff. I think we've a potential find in Corrie Ndaba, a very cool head and composed on the ball, made a couple of telling blocks/interceptions.

Glad I didn't see the first half. Looking good this half against top class opposition.

Re: Spurs match
Better 2nd half without a attacking threat. Sears blazed are only real chance. Holy in goal for me Ndaba looked assured.
