Well done PL. Let's hope the dreaded curse doesn't strike.

Yep deserved in my opinion, don't think too many would disagree.

Deservedly got the award but it's only one month in and in truth we haven't really been tested by any opposition as yet or played off against any side you could label formidable. Over the last 10 years not many managers here have took the monthly accolade, think there was a void between say Royle and McCarthy that took up a number of seasons.

Burley won manager of the year in 2001 if correct for taking the club to fifth place in the EPL and while a different league as to now you wonder when and next another Town manager will grab the same accolade. If Lambert can guide the team to automatic promotion or even first place by May then he'll be a suitable recipient of honors but a number of factors stand in the way i.e. form, consistency, return of game cancelation et cetera.

Yeah I'm pleased for PL but in the first month shouldn't it go to the manager who is top of the league? Unless I missed something there were 2 teams with maximum points from 4 games. How come one of them didn't get it?

We were top of the league end of September.

Can’t argue with his selection, just hope he keeps it going and doesn’t implode as he had in the past.
