2nd half much better also nice to see Holy catching crosses. Deserved to win in the end. Both goals taken very well.
Now there is a headline, Derick.

Holy dud indeed look more assured today. A couple of decent saves too.

And as Tang said, Kenlock had a very good game.

Not sure what happened second half, apart from the shuffle of the front 3. I think we just took the game to them more rather than allowing ourselves to be closed down. A good win.

Agree with Tang, special mention for Kenlock who also played very well today. Great turnaround from the first half and a well deserved win in the end, well done Lambert who tinkering with it and getting it done. I still say with everyone fit we should be right up there.

It is poor.

And I'm always critical of managers when opposing teams turn it round at half time, so credit to PL for doing that today.

Poor first half solely because we had no one to hold the ball up and we had to play on the counter. Saying that judge did more than Keane did in the whole of last season. Better second half with Freddie down the middle. Always more space second half hence why we did better.

Wilson MoM for me.

The more I think about it the more I am convinced playing with no crowd suits us. The games are being played at less intensity meaning better technical players will more often than not prevail.

PL quote.

“Players make mistakes. That’s not a problem. That’s my problem.”

Understand what you’re meaning here, Paul but wouldn’t be saying that in the media too often.

Just saw brief highlights...... bit of an anomaly Freddie Sears. Seems to make easier chances difficult and vice versa. Definitely made a meal of his first chance but the second wasn’t so clear cut; everyone raining down on him.
And then his goal was a lovely dink in behind the keeper and it was far from an easy chance. I rate him because he’s shown time and time again that he can finish...... but, as said, bit of a head scratcher at times.

Couple decent saves from 9ft 6” Holy, especially one in 2nd half when he saw the shot late through a few players.

Couldn’t quite see who it was in midfield but someone was threading through some nice balls.

At the end of the day....... Ipswich Town Football Club just do not get beaten at Portman Road, ...... by Accrington Stanley

We’re now going to embark on a number of Sat / Tues fixtures where the squad is expected to be stretched and you might expect players to be fatigued and perhaps rested. And yet we can hardly field one fit striker leading up to these games. It’s going to be a bit of a patched up team to get through these games.
And the irony is, with all the injuries Bishop and Huws have been injury-free so far. I’d have put money on these two as the first to break down.

I just wonder who’s next to fall victim to the injury curse.

Was thinking exactly the same thing this morning Tang, except i didn't want to put a hex on either player by posting it and hence becoming the panto villain.

Pleased with the result, and the second half showing.

I wondered what PL was playing at first half, starting Judge as striker. Honestly, that is one of the most ridiculous selections I've ever seen, I know we have a striker crisis but it's not as if PL did not have alternatives to Judge as striker.

Second half was much better - Sears is no taller than Judge, but he's a hell of a lot better at holding the ball up and I think this brought our midfield more into the game. I thought Kenlock did well - especially second half, and Huws performance in the second half was the best I've seen of him. Chambers impressed me as well - I've been one of his biggest critics, but I have to say that in the last 2 or 3 games his vision and distribution have been excellent.

I'm still wondering why Judge seems to be an automatic start - for me he offers nothing at all, and he's fast catching up with Skuse for my nomination of our most ineffective and least value-added player.
