Can't get commentary so updates elsewhere it is. No score after 40 but we're having twice the possession they manage. Chances about equal so feeling confident the team can take a result from today.
Hull ahead with a four point lead if scores remain as they are but since we're playing another top three side out there would settle for a point from it. Would want the team to win obviously but mustn't get carried away with the game still to reach interval stage.

Forget about the stats - Lincoln the far better side. Better chances as well.saint jude wrote: ↑Sat Oct 24, 2020 3:42 pmCan't get commentary so updates elsewhere it is. That's going to be lost on a great many. Just hope we don't have to pull out teeth by end of game. Half-time is upon us and as before no score is prevalent. We got the lions share in terms of possession but they've edged ahead in goal opportunities. If stays as it is I'd settle for the result as it's a tough trip to another automatic promotion contender. Maybe something needs to be changed at half-time, I don't know it's Lamberts job not mine but hope to see a Town player register a goal second period. You feel we can do this.ipswichtownNo1 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 24, 2020 3:47 pmMy missus thought i was watching castaway then...." WILSOOOOOON!"

Lankester has looked lost and Bishop needs to run at them, Nolan been ok.

Be dismissive as you want . Town are still in there.... happy with 0-0 at HT as I think we’re bit fortunate to not be behind.ipswichtownNo1 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 24, 2020 3:56 pmSorry tang, that sounded a little dismissive, iagree linciln look good but town had the last 15 i think

Contrast of styles they are sitting deep in the main and playing on the counter allowing our CB’s to have it.

Re: Lincoln City vs Ipswich Town Preview & Matchday Thread
Its like a microcosm of our last 10 years...
Poor one half, good the next, close attempt, missed chance, poor ref decision, poor challenge from slow defender, penalty against us, start to play better than ever but just fall short. All we need is an injury and for them to being on a massive striker who hasn't scored for 10 years who will do just that and we will have ticked all the boxes!

Disappointed to see the team behind (it's) going to be tough now to turn this around. Maybe they're value for the lead have read they were on top more than us when game was without score. We've fallen into fourth position now if scores stay as they are, still time for change you got to remain optimistic.

Sorry to learn that makes for what seems an impending loss all the more hard to stomach. Was it a penalty ? I don't know until get the chance to view it. Game's still underway it seems so still hope but just riding out the final moments in the chance that the team can salvage something.
