that sums it up. Portsmouth get a corner. Ball gets cleared then comes back to keeper. What does he do? Instead of positive, look for people up front he passes to to his right and then lovely. To the left, to the right. Little bit forwards then back again. all negative.

Then here we go bit more positive, bit of speed and what do you know we score..

Plenty of changes for Town but Portsmouth unchanged, it will be difficult to progress I fear.😬
That’s the difference between having a manager with a winning mentality and one without. Guess which one we have !

PS:, if they pick uo injuries to key players they may wish they had our “gob shyte”.

Very little to get excited about in first half, but that late goal means we are still very much in this game, whether we deserve to be is another matter. A good half time team talk and who knows?

God knows how we are only one goal down after that debacle, so so poor, only Nolan and Kenlock get any credit from me so far.

Well this second string Town are equally as ponderous as the first string.... so Lambert is at least building consistency. 68% - 32% advantage in possession- yet it’s all passing between the back four.

Shock horror we're losing an FA Cup game - at home - to Portsmouth. Lambert selects a changed team and the players and manager don't seem to want it. Astonished..

Only got score a moment ago. Is it worth sticking with the second half. Seems we're not trying and while us going out at the earliest opportunity in cup tournament is nothing new was kind of hoping to make a fight of it today and perhaps progress to the next stages. Would be good to turn it around and get one over them for a change but not holding out for much if first period reviews are anything to go by.

Nearly 2-2 straight from corner. Yet another penalty decision doesn't go our way 🤔

More like it. Considering portsmouth have an unchanged team , maybe uf lambert was to stick to a team all season this game could have been a bit easier. I have visions of last season of starting well then lambert doing wholesale changes.

Unlucky , i think edwards was trying to head across goal not score there as we had a player a yard from the back post

No replay is it ? Extra-time if needed and then down to spot kicks, so much for tradition.

Done well to get this game back, momentum should be with us now. Would be fine to rub their noses in it after previous eliminations. Would settle for an extra thirty minutes now, don't want them to steal it now after we've come back from two behind.

Lot better 2nd half. Just shows what happens when you move the ball quicker.

We are so much a different team with Norwood up front pure and simple.

When was the last time the team was involved in extra time in a cup game. In all the 'excitement' kind of lost track with past events. Lambert needs to emphasize to the players now the value of persistence and we're ready and able to finish this game off. Pity no crowd, must have been quite a game underway there right now - so long as we win it.
