I think , as ive stated before i hate it, is this system where we insist on playing out from the back. It pushes our fullbacks up too high pulling cbs out to cover and leaving us wide open. Too many goals have been given due to this. Go 442, not only to get another goal threat on the pitch but also tighten up at the back.Bluemike wrote: ↑Sat Dec 12, 2020 5:08 pmOn this occasion I disagree, there is a chasm of difference between the Two teams, as I speak it should have been ThreeipswichtownNo1 wrote: ↑Sat Dec 12, 2020 5:04 pmPlaying well, not much between the 2 teams except 1 well worked goal and one lucky one which chambers should have dealt with. Nothing wrong with playing out the back . It’s the PACE at which we build our “ attacks” that’s been the main issue with me. Pedestrian doesn’t begin to describe it.ipswichtownNo1 wrote: ↑Sat Dec 12, 2020 5:14 pmI think , as ive stated before i hate it, is this system where we insist on playing out from the back. Re: Ipswich Town vs Portsmouth FC Preview & Matchday Thread
Lambert won't have it playing 442 he hasn't learned any lessons at all from the previous Pompey game, 0.2 please PL stop being so F*****G thick and stubborn play 442 FFS and put Holy back in goal and take F*****G Judge OFF, stop keep blaming it all on injuries we can't and haven't beaten any top 6 clubs, under your training and team positioning we are Cack, so Judge off and Jackson along with Nolan, Mcgavin, Drinan, & Bennetts on, how about putting Hawkins on against his old club ??? would have thought that was the logical player to play today, lose today Lambo and please consider walking away.

Yes but he’s now paired two target players . He’s bloody clueless.
I’m feeling angry , frustrated , and in bloody despsir watching Lambert “at work”.
Sort this f**king mess out !
Sort these bloody injuries out ( not just this season but for the last 4-5 season. Utter garbage by the Club
Play players in their correct positions, and in the right formations.
SORT IT OUT!!!!!!

Re: Ipswich Town vs Portsmouth FC Preview & Matchday Thread
I said it a couple of weeks ago but my enthusiasm for football is waning big time with this current situation, I am so glad I made the right decision today and Tuesday, nor will I be even watching the Boxing day game, I am just not overly interested right now.
Re: Ipswich Town vs Portsmouth FC Preview & Matchday Thread
I hope Lambert falls on his sword. He has to realise his teams tactics set up 433 just does not work. Forget the injury list there still enough players played the right way in the right positions can get results in this sh*t league. The problem is the stubborn manager. ME grow a pair and sack the fool while there is still time to save the season. Will be lucky to get 2000 to go and watch that again.

In truth i lost interest in this game today with about 20 minutes to go.ipswichtownNo1 wrote: ↑Sat Dec 12, 2020 5:58 pmWhy? For someone usually so positive, that is a sad state of affairs i know. Besides, my local home side are at home next Saturday so i am going to take in a chance to watch them against the bottom team! There WILL be goals there and hopefully the majority for my team.
