Should be interesting, I used to go every year to the festival back in the day, what a brilliant week and made even better by your fellow countrymen, Only stopped going when it changed into another Ascot day out for the green welly brigade,

Cheltenham Festival 2021: American Keri Brion's Champion Hurdle dream for Winston C
Brion, 29, was American Hall of Fame trainer Jonathan Sheppard's assistant. Dual Saratoga Grade 1 winner Winston C runs in the Grade B Navan Handicap Hurdle

Guys....... Concertistas decent previous form and a nice all green jockey jersey are NOT good reasons to back a horse! That’s as far as my “tipping skills” go.

True story......, took a fish won at a fairground home one day..... after a few days it was swimming on its side....., collapsed lung issue in goldfish I was told. Sounds like BS....... but after a capful of the Famous Grouse, it perked up, lived for 14 years!!goldandblack wrote: ↑Tue Mar 09, 2021 4:36 pmnow you tell us, what a waste of those 2 bottles of whiskey I put in your horses oats.
14 years definitely sounds like BS. And is. But definitely lasted a few years.

an alcoholic Gold fish, brilliant, when we were kids the rag and bone man used to give us kids a gold fish for old pots and pans and old cloths, when mum saw the fish she would spend hours looking to see what we'd traded with him, we were always grounded for yonks,marko69 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 09, 2021 4:42 pmTrue story......, took a fish won at a fairground home one day..... after a few days it was swimming on its side....., collapsed lung issue in goldfish I was told. the spider that gets me is the W.M.S. it spins a cunning web every night, then when your driving, out of the corner of your eye you see this fly get caught, you just know its future .and it can even watch itself getting eating,marko69 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 09, 2021 5:05 pmAw man, what a death. back on the goldfish's gruesome demise, us kids used to work on the circus and fair grounds when they came to town, on the day they left any gold fish left over were put in the local lake, and there was a crowd of kids watching the Pike and huge Perch coming up and eat em, that's where that bro of mine got the idea from, I can never look a goldfish in the eye now,

Sign me up, it's going to be an odd year for obvious reasons, will be the first time for about 10 years that I don't go for a day. Have also barely followed the racing this season, so will be plenty of names I've not heard before!
