They play like me when someone asks to buy own materials and pay me day rate. If they pay the price rate I'm all over it

Which is just plain weird as they've got to go somewhere in the summer. Obviously the Job Centre idea doesn't bother them.

Not a realistic comparison I know, but Allardyce has just inspired 2nd from bottom West Brom to superbly beat Chelsea in 4th! Same players...

Don't mean to pour fuel on the Cook debate, but my god he's had what 6-weeks now to improve performances? We're getting worse! I know the team is rubbish, but surely Cook could have improved something???

Yes, thats the impression I get from most when I quote. Then once they decide to change a light fitting and put the switched live in the neutral and blow the mcb they phone me up red faced to sort it........with a callout fee on top of original quote

Can't say too much for never witnessed a single minute of that.

Shocking though how play the bottom team of the league without single shot on target.

Roll on June !!!

That put a huge dent in my normally optimistic outlook We are really, really bad right now.

I still have faith in Cook, but we need to get rid of all the sh*te by next season.

Couple months ago, guy said, "Can get someone else to do it for 500quid cheaper."
"Yep, go for it."

Called me back two weeks later saying the engineer is ill.

"Aye right, mate!"

It's hard to believe how bad we are, what a terrible game we played I don't know how they can be so bad they should give there wages to charity after that performance.

Just a shame that the fans aren’t going to have the opportunity to show these players what they really think of them before the clear out begins.

So before Lambert was binned, the team had pushed into top 6 and beaten both Blackpool, Hull and Doncaster if my recall is correct???
I have to say that at this stage i'm a bit disappointed on the impact that Cook has had so far. I'm not expecting miracles but was looking for a bit more than what is being produced?

Didn't get involved this time didn't think it were appropriate but now the game is over not sure what to add to this. First off all right, the opposition are in last place in the league, fighting for their own objectives, but really we should be able to see off teams like this irrespective of where the game is played at.

Have read through a number of replies and that alone tells you all you need to know. Guess the players don't give a sh*t and have just accepted the situation and planned for summer vacations. Would be pleased to a number of them depart as seems there's no merit or valuation to their effort or play.

I don't want to castigate Cook so early in but seriously this really isn't good enough. As a manager he has responsibility to coach and motivate the team - show the emphasis of where we are in the league and something worth fighting for - so what the f*ck is going on there I don't know.

That little run of three games ( the first of the season), came when the take over news broke and Lambert would be leaving .

New man comes in , and tries to get these “ professionals” to up their game, train twice a day , increase the tempo of their previous “ walking football “ under Lambert, and they can’t do it . That’s not Cook’s fault , it’s these highly paid “ professional “, so called elite athletes.

They’re a Bloody joke - every last one of them are stealing a living from this Club and have been in their little comfort zone for THREE YEARS! Clear the lot out and I really hope Cook does this .
