That's a little disconcerting for him to say at this stage, whatever the motive! If he's looking for excuses and asking for time and patience before the match has even begun... that's not good (imo)

Hladky, Donacien, Carroll, Fraser and Celina all start,
Walton KVY, Harper, Aluko and Chaplin all drop out. Edwards still missing

Holy’s sub so I guess Walton is injured. Can you believe we’re going to have 3 different GK’s in 3 games in a week. That doesn’t happen too often.
I think KVY was expected to be dropped. He’s looked poor.

The way things are at the club at the moment, nothing surprises me anymore!tangfastic wrote: ↑Sat Sep 18, 2021 2:11 pmCan you believe we’re going to have 3 different GK’s in 3 games in a week. That doesn’t happen too often.

I’ll say before the ko now , I’m really not sure about our GK today. For me, He’s like a rabbit caught in the headlights around our box .

I must admit Mike, I was same as you with Celina.
Not because don't rate him but just because at the time prefer a more defensive and leader midfielder. Still feel we lack leaders in the team, but happy to see Celina do well. Like all here wanting to see Ipswich do well
Hoping players now step next ladder forward and win !!

Do they not book players for going down too easily like diving ?

Looking so much better. It’s coming together. Danacien’s handling Skully well. Celina looks class

I thought the same thing, but Celinas been doing that all half. Needs to adapt…. but he needs to toughen up and stay on his feet. Celina had some nice touches, but not sure he’s a L1 player.Steve and Jo wrote: ↑Sat Sep 18, 2021 3:46 pmDo they not book players for going down too easily like diving ?
I’ll be honest, even though I think we marginally deserve this … I’m not that comfortable. Just waiting for us to f*ck this up.
We look class at times with the movement, but we look a bit weak.
Thought Burns worked really hard that half. Maybe we got a bit of luck because Bonne looked like he pushed the defender for the goal. Who cares… great cross… great finish.

Bit concerned whether the referee will crumble a little with the home support
He really seemed to get the bird at half time

Just listening, it again sounds like we are on the back foot.

Re: League 1 - Lincoln City vs Ipswich Town Preview & Matchday Thread
I’ve had a positive feeling about this game all day especially after seeing the team line up. Struggling to follow the game but great to see us one up at half time albeit not too comfortable by all accounts. It would be so good to hang and take 3 unexpected points home which would be great for team morale and confidence.

Individually we have some very good players but collectively they’re not yet a team but don’t give up because they will be sometime soon and when they click this will start to be fun.

Yes. Thanks ref … 7 mins. Really.
Town back line held out well. Donacien and Burgess for me best players.
