For the amount of goals Bonne scores, he doesn't half miss what looks like sitters

... at least QPR won’t be so keen on taking him back missing chances like the one today. Earlier in the season that would have busted the back of the net.Steve and Jo wrote: ↑Sun Nov 28, 2021 5:32 pmFor the amount of goals Bonne scores, he doesn't half miss what looks like sitters

Not a good second half but had we gone 3-0 up when we should have none of this pressure would have happened.

Re: League 1 - Ipswich Town vs Crewe Alexandra Preview & Matchday Thread
But honestly against a better side than Crewe who are bottom of the league we would of struggled even more
Kill teams off, I thought Evans was a disaster when he came on, Edwards I really thought start of the season was good. Right now he seems to have rush of blood too much

Piggott must be wondering what he has to do to get any game time! Take the win but the performance doesn’t help to ease the doubts creeping in about PC

His general play was good but all strikers are judged on goals, he missed two what looks like fairly straight forwards.

I don't think I've ever felt so negative after a Town win. At home against a team who were bottom of the league and on poor form, a real opportunity to kickstart our own form by winning by at least two, yet instead they have limped over the line, that is very very worrying.

Summed up perfectly Ricco. Sadly a lot more fuel for the PC out fire when really today should have been about quelling it!Ricco wrote: ↑Sun Nov 28, 2021 6:07 pmI don't think I've ever felt so negative after a Town win. We made Crewe look good, we got the win but made hard work of it,Bonne should of got a few,not sure what's going on with him, needs to be rested, pleased with the win but need to do better if we stand any chance of play offs.

Chances missed apart, what service, in the areas which matter, did Bonne actually get? Aluko apart and a wonder Celina goal, none of our attacking players particularly impressed me (that includes Bersant).

20 games played 27 pts is not good enough. Crewe are bottom and we gave them hope. The players PC brought on changed the game in Crewe's favour not Town's.

It might be unpopular but I would gladly swap the odd Celina wonder goal for everyone else finishing a higher percentage of their much easier, less glamorous chances.

Re: League 1 - Ipswich Town vs Crewe Alexandra Preview & Matchday Thread
What an absolute pile of crap we are, yes its a win but my god struggling to beat the worst team in the league, yet again bizarre from Cook, cruising at 2-0 his substitutions changed the game and put us on the back foot.
You can all rave about Celina and his goal and yes it was a cracker but for 45 minutes he was absolute sh*te and exposed young Clements time after time with his laziness and refusal to track back, I think he dropped back once, bloody hopeless much of the time.
Bonne was crap, should have had at least Three, we need to shake the bloody thing up, we got away with it today but against a better side we would have got beat.
Things are far from right and if you'd been on the terraces you would know unrest and negativity is growing by the week.
