Apart from Morsy I would care if all the rest playing tonight left.

Definitely Niasla and Penny utter dross. Jackson and Norwood will be going anyway.

The problem is whilst we remain managerless this is likely to get worse not better. We have so many players running around like headless chickens including Sam Morsy who has just picked up his customary yellow card for a heavy challenge. I still think individually we have sufficient decent players to make a decent team, unfortunately they don’t play together line one.

I'd say we need some Max Verstappen kind of luck now if we're going to get anything out of this.

A (very) few decent results, but that apart what have we got? Very little! False dawns, big investments, squads changed just the same, dull, miserable experience season upon season! Is it too much to ask for a little consistency, a glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel? Something to raise a smile! Any relief or reprieve from Evans selling up is (or has been) fast disappearing..

I have tickets for Wycombe & Lincoln at home, but you know what, if i could get a refund as we speak, i would. I have fallen out of love with this once fine club. PC's sacking has for me just turned us into another hiring/firing club and I don't like it one little bit!

As said in commentary, you wouldn’t believe Town were the League 1 side and Barrow League 2 and only just at that having only returned to the EFL from the National League in 2020.

Well, if this team / squad / club hadn’t reached rock bottom tonight , I sure as hell have. I’ve never been so embarrassed to call myself a Town fan as I do tonight .

Sad but true, Mark. Just another abject performance and one that even eclipses that awful cup game at Lincoln which we thought at the time was the lowest we could get - how wrong were we....!

I am beginning to think we will be lucky to get the likes of Neil Harris now - Rolf Harris may be up for it though...😱

f*ck me that was only Barrow’ 4th win in their last 15 games. At this rate we could be playing in The Conference in a couple of seasons.

I’m really worried about those guys pensions over in the US.

Couldn't agree more. First viewing of Town this season. Desperate need of quality manager to sort out a shambles. I agree there are more than enough quality in that team to get in the right direction.
Morsey looks quality player at that level but a bit of a banger

Squeaky’butt’ time for the Americans!

Retirement Fund board meeting:

Fund CEO: So you’ve invested in this English soccer club?
3 Lions: Yes we feel it’s the right thing to do.
Fund CEO: Oh ok, is this Ipswich club in the top league?
3 Lions: Erm well no not at the moment.
Fund CEO: Ah I see, so what league are they in?
3 Lions: Umm well they have lots of potential & they were very successful in the 1980s.
Fund CEO: Oh so when do you think they will be successful again?
3 Lions: No fuckin idea to be honest we just got beat by a team of plumbers & carpenters! Still a long way to go. You’ll be dead before they improve.
Fund CEO: Oh! And how much money do you need???
3 Lions: We’re gonna need fuckin millions to clean this mess up!

Just switched my tee time to 12.20 on Saturday, I can’t stand another 90 mins like that. I think I’m in for some stick from my two Mackum mates, this is getting bloody embarrassing.

Do you think though we would of won with Cook in charge?

No way should JM keep in charge and I totally feel the hurt and everything else along with you Liz and rest of the fans. Wouldn't of sacked Cook with nothing being planned before hand. Wouldn't of sacked Cook yet but I stress yet.

Instead of looking up to the top 6 for me would right now be looking at the bottom 4 because we could be joining them in the new year if don't sort this shambles out

So for me, you can forgive or make excuses for a lot of things on a football pitch and you can also never legislate for bad luck. The thing that you can't cover up is lack of effort. There just doesn't seem to be any desire to play well for the badge from this group of players. Couple of little bit of intent from Norwood maybe but absolutely no motivation at all from most. Maybe we have too many well paid players for this level that think they have too much talent to have to work hard.

I've only listened to matches this season and a few have sounded like there was a bit more hunger but many have sounded like this was to watch.

The lack of passion (and I don't mean the odd Morsy dirty challenge) has been constant theme under recent managers. Not sure how we get that back. Actually not sure of I can remember when we last truly had it.

Liz, it wasn't Ashton that sacked Cook, it was the boards unanimous decision, Ashton is just a puppet in that decision.
