Well 2 goals from 2 games and 2 great performances as well, looks
at this moment like he very much will prove some wrong..
From what I have seen he has already proven after 2 games he has got
what we need, unlike others, however I hope it does not fade
overnight..

The fans at Portman Road got on Parkins back quickly, not because they're idiots, because Parking has not looked like he is that good - poor first touch, head makes contact with ball only 1 in 30 attempts, and his flick ons and possession play look very very poor compared to our other players.
I'm still hoping he turns out good, but lets not try to paint a picture where people have decided not to back him for no reason.
I'm sorry but how could he have looked good in the side we played at the start of the season? Forster constantly played 40 yards away from him so any flick ons or lay offs he did make were useless cos Forster was so far apart - not Parkin's fault.
He's said himself he's not a target man, Horlock, Magilton and the like all aimed for Parkin's head - again, not his fault.
And would you not get tense and nervous when in possession when you have 24,500 of your own fans getting on your back for doing nothing wrong?
Totally agree with lewis on this one :i rate parkin and if only we played to his strentghs we would see the best of him.
