Re: NFL Time!!!
I tell you what, 9. Some people think British fans are rough on players? The Americans cut deep with their abuse during the games. Some of these NFL forums. WOW

Re: NFL Time!!!
Think the "NFL" wanted Tom Brady in the SB? What a bad decision that was for the Packers ...... but got to say, as a divisional foe and witness to plenty Lions v Pack games, they usually get the rub. But not tonight, Aaron. Unlucky. It has bit you on the padded arse tonight.
Bucs v Predict Chiefs SB with Brady being too superior.

Re: NFL Time!!!
You can say that again! While we were poor and deserved to lose I felt the official's got 2 or 3 calls wrong tonight, but man Kevin King? What a muppet, cost us last night and why the hell we took the field goal when an 8 point play would have got us level beggars belief.

I reckon he must have been taking tips from Lambert when he decided to go for the field goal instead of the touchdown.Bluemike wrote: ↑Mon Jan 25, 2021 6:44 amYou can say that again! As you say how he came to that decision really does make you wonder.

Re: NFL Time!!!
Think it would’ve been irrelevant....... the NFL would’ve found even more “fouls” to get Brady to the Super Bowl. Can be corrupt....... but when it IS corrupt, it is VERY corrupt. And online Packers fans take great delight and mocking whinging Lions fans........ but they’re definitely getting a taste of it after last nights final few plays.
Bucs v Chiefs...... (won a nice 20 quid bet from a pound stake for chiefs to win between 13 & 18 point margin)........ got to stick with Big Tom.
Anyone see Rodgers post game? Wow. You think Lambert is soul destroying. That was pathetic. He is a model citizen and massive celeb for the Green Bay Area........ was speaking like a petulant child and looking down constantly. Come on, Aaron. You’re better than that.

Re: NFL Time!!!
Never been a Brady fan but to think this will be his 10th Super Bowl appearance is just unbelievable.
Also for it to be taking place in Tampa does make you wonder if it is written in the stars for him to win another ring.

Re: NFL Time!!!
Yes, there certainly is plenty speculation about him possibly moving on. Think offensive decisions really pissed him off and they’ve cut deep. The Bucs getting the rub of the refs certainly didn’t help..... kick in the nuts for him. His press conference was probably just the stark opposite of him going absolutely crazy, which I suppose you got to applaud.

Re: NFL Time!!!
Yes, massive news in Lions Land. 12 years QB off to the Rams. Nothing really changes amongst media and fans though......, was a 50/50 anti-pro Stafford attitude...... and it seems it is going to be the same with Goff. Definitely been met with mixed reaction. But its all new next season, new Head Coach, Dan Campbell and his new staff and now Goff?? It'll be very exciting to see how it all pans out.
Last time Campbell was part of the Lions organisation, they went 0-16! So err, looking good!

Goff's a decent QB, it makes me wonder if there was something else going on in the background. Stafford at Rams will be very interesting indeed.

Re: NFL Time!!!
Wasn't fully in the Stafford Hater Club as they call it......, but I wasn't a big fan. Happy for the change. Was fed up with the excuses. And he had Calvin Megatron Johnson for 6 years to throw to and STILL no Play-offs. Was a bit sick of Stafford lovers sucking up his A$$. Similar with Lambert lovers.
When it is blatantly obvious that change needs to happen....., well, it really NEEDS to happen. Goff will have huge expectation on his shoulders. Hope he's ready for it.
