Magilton going to Forrest??
Heard a whisper from an ardent Forrest Fan that they are keen on having Magic on board for the rest of the season!!! He believes that Magic may be their next Player/Manager!!! I can't see magic turning that offer down if there is any truth in it. Judging by the poor performance of magic at Crewe yesterday, mabe his mind was elseware!!!thoughts?

We all love Jim and all wish he was only 30 still but the facts speak for themselves - there were numerous occasions last season in which he was struggling. This season is perhaps a season too far as far as jim is concerned.
IMO I don't think he would cut it much better at a lower level either. Whilst the lower leagues may be technically inferior there is still alot of running which needs to happen. Magilton doesn't come across as a naturally fit guy and I couldn't see him hacking the physical side of playing at a lower league.
As a midfielder you probably need to be fitter and quicker than most other areas of the pitch - for me Jim just doesn't offer enough anymore.
If I were Jim I would stay here for the rest of this season - hopefully go out with a bang and then look to start coaching or management somewhere!

Losing Jim from the starting eleven is something we have all come to terms with due to his tireing legs, however losing him altogether would be a small disaster.
For the rest of the current season his experience would be much to be desired to influence the team in the run up to the play-offs (i say in hope)
As well as that his influence on the sidelines would be phenomenal, having Jim as a coach next season would be great IMO and is a legend of the club.
Am counting down the days until we unveil his statue!
