Re: Player of the year vote link
Will be quite a tough call this year I think. Not like some years in the not so distant past when I was looking at backroom staff to vote for as the playing staff hardly warranted it!

I’ve gone for Morsy, I know Chaplin has had a good season scoring wise and Davis is also another strong contender but just feel Sam has been performing at such a consistent high level for the majority of the season. As you say a tough one to call though.

I’ve voted for Morsy. The team would be totally lost without him in my view. He’s such a driving force and leads by example!

Re: Player of the year vote link
Morsy seems a fine choice. I think for his approach in recently avoiding a yellow card (over a number of matches) and hence a 2 (?) match ban alone, deserves an accolade. He is a player who we know plays his game on the edge, but to show that level of control but still play with grit & determination speaks volumes of our captain

Choice had to be based on highlights and voted Conor Chaplin. Great finisher, great positioning, looks like he reads the game beautifully with his off ball movements.

Sami Morsy.
And he had a bit of competition this year too.

Re: Player of the year vote link
Before the Americans took over and appointed Mark Ashton as CEO, the fan base coveted a commanding midfielder the likes of which had not been present for many years. Morsy has filled that role and also exemplifies a worthy captain even though his aggressive nature is questioned at times. Without Morsy, Chaplin wouldn’t have scored as many goals, and I doubt we would have achieved club records for clean sheets. When we signed him I knew right away he is exactly what ITFC needed.
Who’d have ever thought an Egyptian international player would be a contender for ITFC Player of the Year?
Morsy gets my vote.

Re: Player of the year vote link
Morsy gets mine, few lads in the running and 2nd choice would of been Chaplin.
Morsy is just our linchpin when it comes to solidity and effort he is the man.
