Seems the bellends on owlstalk ar lapping this up, fingers crossed we perform this weekend and they don't, would be a real shame if they did not make the auto's.
I couldn’t help myself and read a few of the threads as well Dazz.

Forgive the pun but I would love to see them knocked off their perch this season

So would I Frosty, yes they are a great team and really should of sealed it by now but they have not, they have bottled it again and just being nasty, well, sticks and stones kiddies, seriously laugh my bum off if they drop down a couple of places which I think they will.

Barnsley will overtake them, you wait and see.

Had to go have a look at the Owlstalk thread re the referee, (its all quite entertaining really  ) ….., but what i dont understand is them referring to KMcK as a “whinger”?
He’s the furthest from a whinge. Very down to earth, laid back, matter or fact type guy. 🤔🤷‍♂️

Would like to see how they regard the likes of Steve Evans or Neil Warnock.

I've not known McKenna complain. Appears too phlegmatic or even quiet to speak out in anger. If he's been bitching about something at any time it must have been a game that went under radar or didn't get to hear about.

Did take a look at their leading fans forum maybe on occasion and general thought was one of then being of a fair and impartial rationality. They don't take to ridiculing / lashing out at other promotion rivals - unlike one or two others (club name forums) that could be highlighted. There's some real arrogant asses among them. Wouldn't label it pompous, just kind of on the edge of unpleasant or inhospitable to anyone but their own.

What I find strange is, the replacement Ref is from West Riding which is....Yorkshire? Surely they could of found a Ref from Devon or Newcastle someone know where near Sheffield or Barnsley? FFS.
I have horrible feeling this whole saga with Referee changes is going to hurt us. 🫣

There's some bad blood going down!

It's basically because they fear us. I've seen comments online from SW fans saying to Plymouth fans, oh you lot are alright unlike those arrogant, entitled Ipswich fans. It's because they don't see Plymouth as a threat, they see us as a threat. They're big on mocking Wes Burns too. It's because they'd love to have him instead of a bunch of aging, injury-prone old hacks.

Plymouth have looked the most likely though. And I see they've been practising their theatrics.

I think Plymouth have gained as many points from late goals as Town have lost from late goals.

50% pass accuracy, 37% possession. I know doesn't tell full story, but stats at least suggest Plymouth have got lucky there.

Whatever peoples thoughts are about Plymouth the one thing you have to say is they are certainly resilient. When they got thumped at Wembley by Bolton they immediately bounced back with a result the next game. Same today and have now put the pressure on both Wednesday and us to match their result.

Plymouth certainly know how to see out games with a narrow lead and his to make the most of limited shots on target in a game, today 1 goal from 2.

We certainly have what I see as our best line up starting today, let’s hope they can get their game back on track this afternoon after last week’s disappointment at Cheltenham. I certainly hope so but it’s a shame we meet Charlton just as they’re hit their best form of the season. At least it should mean they have a go at us too which should produce an open game which should suit us more than if they come just looking for a point.
