Revamped membership scheme launched
The Club can reveal details of its revamped membership scheme ahead of the 2023/24 season.
Following a thorough review, a new, streamlined membership offering has been introduced, with one single Club membership available to all adult supporters.
The new Super Blues membership package, priced at £39.99, works to cover the needs of supporters wishing to watch the club at Portman Road and those following Town away from home. At its heart, the Super Blues membership aims to offer a fair priority sales process to all supporters.
The new memberships will be available to buy from 10am on Thursday, 13 July.
Home games
For games at Portman Road, Super Blues members will receive priority for ticket sales, with non-season ticket holders at the head of the queue.
All priority sales will be limited to one ticket per member.
Typical sales window for home games:
Monday, 10am – Super Blues members who are not season ticket holders.
Wednesday, 10am – Super Blues members who are season ticket holders.
Friday, 10am – Season ticket holders.
Monday, 10am – General sale.
The club reserves the right to monitor attendances and add additional priority levels to sales
Away games
Away sales will be prioritised towards Super Blues members and will work using a newly-structured Away Priority Points scheme.
Initially, points will be awarded historically, based on away games attended by members during the 2022/23 season. Going forward, points will only be awarded to active Super Blues members, with one point awarded for every away ticket purchased.
Your points will be visible on your online ticketing account in due course, to help you know where you stand in the priority windows.
Supporters purchasing a Super Blues membership will be awarded a five-point bonus at the point of purchase.
Ahead of the 2024/25 season, any points awarded from the 2022/23 season will be wiped down, therefore supporters will only carry one season’s worth of points into the next. This will be the process ahead of every new season with the oldest seasons collected points being wiped down.
Prior to each away game going on sale, the Club will communicate how many points will be required to guarantee a ticket, which will be available at a rate of one per member.
Example sales window for away games:
Monday, 10am – Super Blues members with 30+ points.
Tuesday, 10am – Super Blues members with 25+ points.
Wednesday, 10am – Super Blues members with 20+ points.
Thursday, 10am – Super Blues members with 15+ points.
Friday, 10am – Super Blues members with 5+ points.
Monday, 10am – Season ticket holders.
Tuesday, 10am – General sale.
Super Blues membership benefits
As well as priority access to home and away tickets, a Super Blues membership also comes with a range of benefits, including;

Quite punchy given the old silver membership was £30 and you got a free league ticket and a friendly ticket.

Bit of a joke this, buy a season ticket but go to the back of the queue, p*ss take, the club haven't got that much wrong but this is bull.

No it doesn't say that, it says whoever buys the new scheme gets awarded 5 points.

Not wholly pleased with this change to be honest. It seems that unless you go to every away game you may struggle to het away tickets this season. That said, it may stop the small but annoying groups of fans intent on trouble who often go to the London games... lets see I guess. You pay your money, you take your chance...

Re: Replacement membership card
Given that most Championship clubs have a fair sized stadium, I’d have thought away tickets in numbers should be available to all who would want one ( by and large).

Re: Replacement membership card
I'm showing 11 priority points atm, typical the one season I didn't do as many away games is the one that counts, all the hard yards doing every game supporting Chambers and his cronies for Four years counts for nothing, should have been a glory hunter.

Re: Replacement membership card
Tbh not properly digested all the 'terms and conditions' of the new membership, will do so today.
I do not attend many games I must be honest but would ideally like to get to at least away next season and at least 1/2 home games, found it hard last year as all the ones wanted to go to were all sold out so quickly, do you feel the new system will benefit the likes of me?
I would do more but it is just the overall cost I find hard (I do appreciate a lot of you spend a lot more than me), I also do appreciate we are all in the same boat so to speak with rising day to day costs etc, hopefully I will see a few of you then

Thats a sore one for some supporters. Should’ve been assessed over the period of the League One years…….. supporters like yourself suffering Paul Lamberts nonsense.

Re: Replacement membership card
I'm not sure it will benefit you mate, at the moment it looks to me like it will benefit those who did a lot of away games last season, irrespective of anything else.Dazzz67 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 12, 2023 8:20 amTbh not properly digested all the 'terms and conditions' of the new membership, will do so today.

Hopefully the allocation at most away games will cover demand, as it stands atm and reading the press release tkts go on sale on the Monday and with my points allocation I'd have to wait until the Thursday before I could purchase, unfortunately it reads like you would be after that so away games will be difficult. I think you will benefit where home games are concerned.

Re: Replacement membership card
Taking this slightly off piste, I am hopefully going to go to our away game at Bristol City, I have spoken to a mate of mine who is a season ticket holder there and if I cannot get an away ticket I should be ok in their home end.
So in a possible return, what would be the reception to having one or two Bristol City fans in the Magnus stand? thats where I normally go when attend homes games (not very often),for starters is it allowed? Just sounding it out and being prepared, chances are if he was to come he would get an away ticket anyway.

I looked up an average away attendances and it was between 800 and 2.6k, most in the 1 to 1.5k range.

I Reckon getting away tickets for most of those games will be a problem then, as we’ll easily take 2-3k fans to most games I think

Re: Replacement membership card
Just ordered mine. Hopefully having it helps, but in the past I'd order 2 tickets (i.e for a mate or my dad) when ordering but now they will need to also be a priority member, I think you can link the accounts via friends & family feature or something.
Mike - they is an FAQ now on the page and last point states something about ST holders still getting priority for 1 extra ticket I believe.
