Hirst should really have done better on 43 mins, it would have been a perfect time to have scored the opening goal.

Probably not, Conor Chaplin has been more effective than Burns down the right so far especially switching play from right to left.

I don’t think we’ve had a single shot on target in the first half.

We’ve had so many good chances that we’re not taking . It’ll come back to bite us in the bum.
We look very pedestrian in our build up but I think QPR have done their homework on us. We need to move the ball much quicker like we did in that first 10-15 mins.

Such a frustrating half, started well and for 20 mins looked in control, lots of space and pinging the ball around nicely, somewhere it's changed and for 25mins we've been poor, stray passes, losing second balls, no penetration at all, they've certainly closed us down better in that 25 mins.

Thanks to Two defensive f*ck ups they've had the Two best chances, Burns and Donacien the culprits, our right side has been poor tbh, I was pleased when Clarke had to come on. Burns needs to up it, looks pedestrian. Broadhead has not been in it at all and the service to Hirst has been missing, when he was in on goal near HT he wastes a good chance to score.

That was our worst half back in the Championship but still we are level so hopefully we can step it up. I think we need changes though. For me Woolfenden and Morsy the best Two Town players again.

Very poor by Town lots of mistakes, the passing needs to be better and if we are going to win this we must play a lot better second half, had those two early chances been taken it would have been all but over.

We certainly need to sharpen up in the opposition box as our shooting from inside the box has been shocking.

Watching this QPR side us like watching a bloody McCarthy side. Everyone behind the ball , counter attack when you can and batter any Town player in the ball

Chaplin scores we're ahead. Not sure if we deserve it but who gives a sh*t we got a lead.

If you're going to do well in leagues you got to win sometimes even when playing poorly. Another 12 minutes or something to see it out.

Jackson and hutchinson now in play, replace burns and broadhead. Seems we've picked up after scoring, look likely to go further ahead although Vaclav just had to make an important stop to keep them out.

It seems as soon as we bring on new front men we no longer keep holding the ball ( not that we’ve been particularly good at that today anyway )

luongo nearly made it two, their goalkeeper makes a save.

Almost over, two minutes of overtime remain. Say again maybe we weren't entirely value for any win today but it's sometimes a sign of a good team that can win / get results without playing that effective.

Seconds remain it seems safe enough now. This will be a real encouraging start even if we made hard work of it out there today. FULL TIME, IT'S A WIN. We did it.
