Am I dreaming? Somebody pinch me as I really didn't fancy us getting a result tonight. Morsy's selection totally vindicated there.
I know the Leeds game is not yet over but did anyone truly see us at, I will say maintaining (at this point in time) the points gap over Leeds, let alone potentially opening it up further! WOW, heady stuff!!

That puts 10 points between us and 3rd place Leeds United.

5 mins added time at Sunderland who just can’t get hold of the ball.

Two good results for Sunderland over the last 4 days with two wins against WBA on Saturday and Leeds tonight.
Both results great for us too.

It's a pity it took the sacking of Mogga for them to win those two games.

A great result, well 2 with Sunderland beating Leeds.
We allow too much space down the wings in my opinion. An exciting but scrappy game really. I think the combination of 2 teams closing each other down and the weather contributed to that. A draw was probably a fair result but brilliant to have won it.
I think I predicted 11 points for December. So far we have 9. Me, pessimistic? Never.
Currently working my way through the leftover beer from my 70th last Friday and all the whisky I was given. Let’s hope we can win on Saturday.

That now puts 18 points between us and 6th place Sunderland and 10 between us and 3rd place Leeds United.
I’d take a draw now at Elland Road, anything better and I’ll think I’m in dreamland.

Re: Championship - Watford FC vs Ipswich Town Preview & Matchday Thread
A draw would be good but how brilliant would it be to beat them at their place . That’s shut their fans up. Apart from a 15 min dodgy patch at PR we had them scrambling for most of the game from memory .
According to scum fans this is the worst championship in years snd we’ve been, well, lucky for 20 games, apparently!

This is why Saturday is so SO important. If they are anything like Hearts fans, they’ll need silenced. No scrappy draws……… slick football, play them off the park with a big 3-0 HT , 6-0 FT showdown. Re: Championship - Watford FC vs Ipswich Town Preview & Matchday Thread
This actually from the BBC. (You can check it out here)
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/67621466
The goal must have put a smile on the face of former Watford chairman Sir Elton John, who was watching the game alongside Ipswich fan Ed Sheeran, but the younger singer/songwriter did not have to wait long for a celebration of his own. When Sam Morsy’s carefully placed shot hit the net, Sir Elton stood up and said to Ed, “get out of my directors box you ginger tosser.”
Everyone around was shocked, but Ed did have the last say by informing Sir Elton that at least the ginger was real, and not looking like something that had crawled up his back and sat on his head.
