71% possession and its 2-0 already? Do we keep getting caught on the counter like against Maidstone?!!

Quite agree!

17 mins into the game and we’ve not had the ball in their box yet …. I’ll be amazed if we get anything from this game now. By shy the hell do keep conceding soft goals . We do it every bloody game. Woolfenden/ Edmundson partnership was like a bloody sieve when McKenna first came in. They really are average CBs in my humble opinion.

I got a 2 - 0 reverse score and we're what 20 minutes in ? Seriously, not sure what else to add to it. And another own goal ?, seems we're making a habit of this in recent games.

This isn't the start I envisaged. Not sure what to do as not the manager there but suggest a change of plan quick to recover something. Real frustrating reading we often get so much possession and can't seem to do a damn thing with it. Leicester and Southampton got leads FFS, not a great start to action.

Mind you this is the argument for VAR

First goal seemingly foul on Morsy, 2nd goal off side then Morsy gets foot in the face, cut and bleeding with not even a talking too

Just home from work and shocked to see the scoreline! Equally as shocked to see the meltdown going on on here! Why would you start with a player who's been in the building 5 minutes and another just back from Asia with some kind of back complaint? Many question Ladapo's "treatment" when it came to playing time and now are complaining that Jackson (who I will add I've never been a fan of) has started! Moore and Al-Hamadi will get their moments and chances to become instant heroes (I hope), but if Jackson doesn't cut it today when the manager has given him a chance to stake his claim then he too can have little complaint if he gets little future game time.

Spot on with those comments. If Ipswich can "create", Jackson must be on it --->> today

Jackson has had game-time recently, Mark - and he hasn't cut it at all.

Sentiment is for losers

Yep. As said pre-season ---->> rising to 4th would be great......, but dropping to 4th could be damaging. Its proving that it will be. Not only on other forums, but on here as well. Not good.

I don't think I've seen any moaning of Jackson starting (may have missed it). But I'm saying get Moore on now, Jackson is fine, but when you're playing against a team that will now be parking the bus with a 2-0, you need the big man on.

Also Moore is match fit and it's the easiest position on the pitch to slot in to, he doesn't have to do anything other than make a nuseince of himself.

Yes, indeed he probably hasn't cut it. Then again when has really ever cut it here (as a lone striker I mean)? We have been very light up front of late, the alternative of playing Broadhead as a striker has really set the world alight, so perhaps Jackson has been probably our 'best" option!
If the two new strikers had been here and training all week then yes, a start for either would be perhaps justified.

At 3-0 down, I would say that a start for both would have been justified. KM has been extremely well backed by the owners and CEO this transfer window - we've brought in 4 players who will supposedly add value, and yet KM in his infinite wisdom has chosen to start with only one of them. Go figure

Well unless Kieran makes changes at halftime and brings both new strikers on change at the back put Axel on play 4-4-2
I see that Will Keane down their left our right side scored 2 goals RB is our weakest link take Clarke off stick Travis at RB

Glad I did give the game a miss. Many more performances like this and we won’t have to worry about losing our manager in the near future.

I think we are in danger of being a one truck pony re our tactics …. This playing out from the back on this pitch … we still keep doing it . Absolute zero presence in attack and not much more in midfield. They’re just picking us off on the break.

so what would others do now if they were manager?

For me, I'd bring on both new strikers and switch to 3-5-2.

Will KM do that? Not a cat's chance in hell.

I think McKenna is once again showing a bit of nativity … he needs to mix it up a bit more.

This game is done with now. We might score … but not 4!!!

I'll give this afternoon until the hour mark....., HT @ Preston, 3-0 ..... HT @ ER, 0-3...., (Start crowing, Valley!)

Was at breakfast earlier with the wife. She got the full breakfast....., I just ordered a couple of fried egg rolls. Her breakfast arrived. My egg rolls didn't. Waitress asked if everything was ok, I politely said, "Well, I don't know. Its not here!" She was going to get the rolls but I told her to forget it, it was really ok.
But......, one of THOSE days.
