Who thought after 10 minutes we would be winning 0-3 at half time.

11 games since scoring first. What a difference that makes.

… and the first time we’ve gone 2-0 up in the first half up since we played Millwall at Portman Road.

Re: Championship - Millwall FC vs Ipswich Town Preview & Matchday Thread
You’re right there Liz, we’re still 5 goals behind Southampton and GD could well become vital at the end of the season. Let’s go for the jugular not like we did against them at Portman Road when we took our foot off the gas second half after leading 3-0 at HT.hallamblue wrote: ↑Wed Feb 14, 2024 9:50 pmI don’t want us to take our foot off that pedal though …. We need GOALS
Change Moore for Al-Hamadi asap.

With games coming thick and fast I think we can afford to make a few early changes without taking too many risks.

Re: Championship - Millwall FC vs Ipswich Town Preview & Matchday Thread
I guess as Ian Westlake just said in commentary with games coming up thick and fast the payers are probably taking it easy playing to instructions and simply controlling the game.
I’m sure it will raise in tempo again when the subs come on and add more momentum.

I’d like to see Al-Hamadi get a decent 20 mins but other than that good changes by McKenna.

How’s our defence been? Is Woolfy better with Burgess at his side? Have we been playing the ball out from the back?

Was just about to say we are peeing about with it SO much across our 18 yard area and then nothing comes of it - gives me heart palpitations tbh … Woolfie not had much to do tbh nor has Burgess….

Now it might get interesting cos I’m sure Am-Hamadi will want his name on the score sheet. What odds on a hat trick in 15 mins + added time.
