I wouldn't give it too much thought Mike... their first action on the forum was to weirdly start a thread aimed at a player and asserting a fact that nobody has even really questioned or made strong comment on... I don't think they're all there...

Re: Morsy
Morsy and Luongo are average , I never once mentioned that they would be hooked just yet did I , nor did the original poster .Bluemike wrote: ↑Sun Aug 25, 2024 8:30 amIf we rewind back to the beginning, you said "Morsy is average in this league, so is Luongo" now while you could ultimately be correct don't you think it's a tad early after Two games against such tough opposition to draw that conclusion? Morsy in particular has been pretty decent and against Liverpool the MOTD pundits actually featured Luongo and how he did such a sterling job in man marking Trent out of the game in the first half, so so far they ain't done bad.
As for comparing them to others in the division of course they may be quite a way down the list in terms of quality as we have some of the world's elite to compare with but I think they need to be given credit thus far clearly McKenna has brought in other midfielders to challenge for a place and strengthen us but we don't even know if Cajuste is gonna cut it ( he probably will) while Phillips has a lot to do to get his mojo back.
As for the moderator nonsense, I'm not even gonna get into that, if Frosty has a problem he'll say, I don't even regard myself as one apart from helping with preview and predictions etc and I basically never try to get involved in addressing stuff apart from the odd unavoidable time. I regard myself as just another poster which is what I prefer and I have no issue with agreeing or disagreeing with opinions, it's what it's all about.
Thank you for finally debating the topic .
I was beginning to think Morsey was on the back of your Town shirt.
We will have to wait and see what the future holds .

Unless you are also 'Blue Bentley' the poster who originally started the thread with his first ever comment, I suggest you untwist your knickers and re-read the thread. Mike was talking to Blue Bentley and my comment was about him, not you, though I'm starting to reconsider that.MMJR67 wrote: ↑Sun Aug 25, 2024 6:22 pmbeen on this forum longer than you. not sure how you figure it was the first action.

It's not plural, you read it as you wanted to read it. I couldn't say he or she could I? Because I don't know what they are, hence they/they're, or was I just meant to just guess, so as not confuse you?MMJR67 wrote: ↑Sun Aug 25, 2024 7:18 pmI don't think they're all there... is what you wrote .Ricco wrote: ↑Sun Aug 25, 2024 7:09 pmUnless you are also 'Blue Bentley' the poster who originally started the thread with his first ever comment, I suggest you untwist your knickers and re-read the thread. As a 57 year old, I'd expect you to be a lot wiser and mature than you've shown, but perhaps you're one of those undesirable armchair fans, perhaps that's why you've posted just 3 or 4 times in 15 years? Waking up at the smell of a bit glory are we?

You did the research on my age , you must be able to figure out male or female .Ricco wrote: ↑Sun Aug 25, 2024 7:24 pmIt's not plural, you read it as you wanted to read it. Well thank you kindly, I'm glad you can at least understand that much.
Your age is a single click of the mouse. To find his/her (is that better for you) gender would probably break several laws as it's not disclosed. But sorry if you don't understand all that, might be too much wisdom required.

Re: Morsy
Too be truthful , I never left .I read daily .
I got wrapped up in life and my business.
I have since sold my business and retired .
You now see I have too much time on my hands
sitting by my pool with my IPAD.
I made it over to see 6 matches last season.
I watch all matches on the interweb
and before that listened thru bbc , those were the days right?
This is the best TOWN site by far for conversation about the club we love .
TWTD is not an option , I wont bash them but , much more relevant talk over here .

Well that's irrefutably true for sure. Even so, I do feel for you having to read this sh*t for years without being able to contribute! Must have felt like some kind of purgatory at times in League 1. I wouldn't change a thing though, and welcome back in that case!

Re: Morsy
I think ranking Morsy against other CMs in the PL is missing the point. He has a role on the pitch that he plays very well within our system and seems to have acquitted himself well this season (not withstanding a yellow card rate of 1 per game).
He also has a role off the pitch that I don't see much of but imagine is also valuable.
I'm on the fence about whether he will be in the starting XI by season end. It may depend on how we do during his first suspension period without him.
