Wow, that's a kick in the gut when checking for HT score and expecting 2-0 :(

Harry Clarke caught napping for their first and Muric maybe could have done better for their second but that maybe harsh as was Harry Clarke being awarded the own goal.

Brentford have definitely upped the speed of their game after we looked well in control for the first 30 mins.

How frustratingly disappointing. We get ourselves 2 goals up, are on top and then boom!! They are/were there for the taking.

First 40 mins Brentford didn’t have a single shot on target.

I would take a draw right now, I never thought we could score 2 goals and I'm sure we can't score another.

I hope that's done the trick.🤞🙏

Had Morsy been in the team, Brentford wouldnt have scored those 2 goals. But we should have had a free kick b4 their first one...McKenna wasn't happy eith 4th official

We're playing well today....more intensity and not peeing around the edge of the box with it b4 getting it into the box. Hirst holding the ball up which gives the other forwards time

Let's hope that's not part of KMcK's team-talk

They're not at Griffin Park, hadn't realized they got a new stadium. So it's halftime and what have we got. Two goal lead squandered, guessing somehow the defense needs a certain improvement, we're lining up 4-2-3-1 so no change there, but lo and behold Smodzics Chaplin and Hirst get to feature from the off and not wasted on the bench this time around. McKenna must have been observing replies here last week or something.

Would really be something if went on to win 4 - 2 like years back but the goals are there for us as the first period demonstrated. Put more of that into the remainder of contest and keep them out other end and hopefully it'll see a first victory.

This season is being so cruel. Punished for mistakes time after time. VAR not helping our cause!

That’s two borderline VAR decisions against us. Definitely not our day but I’m sure we’ll have chances to get back in this. I’m sure we’ll see Clarke and Delap on soon, this certainly isn’t finished yet albeit we could concede again if we push to many players forward.

If we do I think it will be goodbye to McKenna and maybe Gamechanger too whilst they can pretty much get all of their investment out. They certainly can’t risk pension fund money going down the pan and always made it clear their goal was to take Town to the Premier League and ultimately into Europe. If the fans don’t want that their continued involvement would be pointless.

Thrown away a two goal lead. This is bullshit. Not possible to view action right now so going by way of live updates. Don't like VAR decision/s, just seems to spoil things considerably and this is going to be worth checking out at later time. Concur with some other comments in that there doesn't seem to be much to enjoy now we're back. Was really expecting more of an enterprising season up to this point than what we're enduring.

What's Delap doing starting on the bench he's easily more effective starting from the very beginning. One of our more influential players and not even on the field. He can only be carrying an injury or not match fit. May be an idea to introduce Burns and Broadhead into it at some stage while we can still get back into it.
