Perhaps a few more of us might now begin to trust the process.

Sod all of the talk about formations, tactics, substitutions, VAR, bad refs etc. Pink kit for the rest of the season and we stay up!

At last, we did it !!!!
A great battling performance
Backs to the wall 2nd half with O'Shea superb
A change of formation worked wonders, that's all some of us have been asking for !

Oh **** just seen the price...
Cracking win and no less than we've deserved. Up out of the relegation zone and back on the coat tails of a few others. The Leicester result will still hurt, but this won't half help take the edge off it!

I thought O'Shea was immense second half, Hutchinson was superb and Muric had fab hands all afternoon. Everybody did their bit for sure. We look much better with Tuanzebe in the team although he did lose his man for their goal.

Was all over OโShea after a certain game. Man he was terrible. Everton game maybe?
But โโ>>> wrong, heโs bedding in and been given his chances โโ>>> โfk off and install a boiler.โ said OโShea.

Re: Premier League - Tottenham Hotspurs vs Ipswich Town Preview & Matchday Thread
I always felt a win was on the way today. I was the second of 5 people to go for a win on this thread's poll. Stuck with an away win (0-1 in my case) in the Prediction League (and with Szmodics as first scorer woohoo) too. Just wish I was a betting man haha.
I get the nature of all the discussions on here, it's
good for this site, but prefer to have faith in those in the hot seat of the club. I believe KM said something along the lines of it being November before we would see players getting up to speed.
We are driving a Mini in a F1 race and that level of disparity deserves a lot more credit. KM is still learning, he will make his changes in personnel and formation when he sees it as our best means of getting a result. Of course mistakes are going to be made and I'm sure Ange will be getting more than his fair share of questions from the Spurs fans today.
Like you Marko, I'm just laughing (respectfully as I can) at all these 'see what a difference a few tweaks can make'. KM made any changes on the basis of who he had available as well as the best way to counter Spurs' approach.
But anyway, what a fantastic result today. We should be celebrating back to back wins in truth, but offer me 4 points before these last two games were played and I'd have probably done myself an injury taking your arm off!

That league table all of a sudden looks so much healthier. We are now within a win of Everton & Leicester, whereas we were once starting to look a bit cut off.

Missed the first half with family duties but watched the second. We fully deserved it on the 2nd half performance alone. No fluky win for sure.
Spurs looked jaded but that's partly down to us. Tuanzebe was immense as were a number of others, and cute play for the last 15 mins or so was really important too.

Wasn't expecting that. Have at it a first top level win 22 years, f*ck it's taken long enough. Some irony in that believe we won at Tottenham the year we were relegated by a similar score towards end of season, lo and behold it's occurred once more.
Some confusion over what formation we put out today. Some say 4-5-1 or 4-3-3 but got report we fielded the same one as usual. Whatever the case it's relief to get that elusive victory and all this against an opposition team and venue many would imagine we had no right to. Stats suggest we were maybe fortunate to win it in that the opposition were way ahead by end of game in terms of chances created and possession but guess need to check out coverage and relevant points when time permits it.
Tottenham would have been tired after a midweek trip and defeat in Istanbul but take nothing away from us that's a hugely encouraging score if ever there were one. Norwich bastards lose again, that's three in a row by all account and we see victory and the motivation to pull away from the lower reaches of the league. What else can you add to it.

On way home. What a day! We were excellent all day. Cajuste, Johnson, Morsy and Delap the pick of the bunch for me but they were all superb. The defence especially. We were clinical on attack, reckless and solid in defence. McKenna was even slightly more defensive when needed and didn't do the standard subs - just some fresh legs. Even Muric deserves a pat on the back as he was taking a lot of stick from the Spurs fans who were awful - so quiet all game until they scored. I can't remember them singing a song other than one rendition of them going marching in. We outsung them all game. Oh and by the way - this had little to do with 'the process' whatever that is - it was just hard work, playing for each other, being clinical and not being reckless. Just what the doctor ordered on so many levels. Bring on Man Utd!
