Mark,
It's good to see you posting, what you have to remember is posting our feelings and grievances on a forum is no way knocking the club, it's venting your frustration and feelings when things aren't going well or conversely when they are, like the last Two seasons, I'm 100% certain they won't be reading our drivel on here.
What would be the point of us all agreeing with everything and each other and having no voice ? It renders forums pretty pointless and boring. We either read and respect everyone's opinions or we ignore them, I tend to do both.
You are clearly happy to trust the process regardless which is your right, myself and others have concerns it isn't currently going to plan, which clearly it isn't, you only have to read the bits you have actually highlighted where Mark Ashton says things are clearly not going to plan on the pitch, kinda what some are saying on here.
I get you are not happy reading the negative stuff and criticism of the team and manager but maybe I'm not happy continually reading I have to trust something which is in danger of failing? It works both ways and does at times frustrate me, so we aren't so very different.
I find it hard to understand that some can't see a lot of our issues at the moment are self inflicted Borne out of stubbornness and a bit of naivety, its proven when you change some things it worked.
At the end of the day we all want the same thing and I can assure you nothing or nobody would drive me away from any forum or anywhere else with opinions that differ from mine, and you should be exactly the same.
Finally we'll have to agree to disagree on Muric I'm afraid, he's a car crash and one of the biggest spanners in the works of the process we are asked to trust, I think that is proven given the hundreds and hundreds of comments from fans, pundits, ex players and forums that are out there.
Keep posting you old git.

I appreciate both positive and negative perspectives, and I agree the forum is a great way to vent our frustrations when things aren’t going well. We all knew this would be a tough challenge, and in all honesty we’ve performed in most matches better than I thought we would.
The thing that bothers me the most is gifting goals due to stupid mistakes. Unfortunately, Muric is a repetitive offender, and he needs to straighten out his performances.
I try to find positives after every match, but giving away leads has to stop!
I hope you continue to post comments from a positive perspective because we need balance.

A team only plays with confidence if they have complete trust in their stopper, Muric, The only solution is to drop him from the squad put Walton back in goal and in the Jan window search for a real quality keeper, if Newcastle bring in a new keeper James Trafford as rumours have stated then we should make a bid for Nick Pope the 32-year-old I feel would give our defence the security we need to start winning games, Muric just stands in his area with the ball at his feet without a clue where he has to pass it, if Kieran still keeps Muric in goal then this will make our fan base disappear for the stands we just cannot afford to keep him.

WORD - it's sheer folly to suggest that by voicing concerns on a forum we're going against the club and not sticking together. What would constitute going against the club would be voicing such concerns at games - I didn't hear any booing at PR this season so that's clearly not the case.Bluemike wrote: ↑Wed Dec 11, 2024 6:21 pmMark,

But a forum is a place for frank exchange of opinions - I refuse to support (on this and any other forum) a "process" in which I can see so many flaws at the moment.

I'm sure I will be back, however, I feel I have little more I want to offer at this particular point.

Another sentiment I completely agree with. Unlike you, I have never been a regular poster so my absence will not be noticed. Yours will. Do come back and post when, not if, things turn around.

I've heard booing after games ,also booing when Ali came on,just a few idiots though, people want to vent their frustrations o a forum, nothing wrong with that.i agree with replacing Muric ,he's a liability, sorry but he's needs to be replaced but unfortunately I can't see it happening.rossi wrote: ↑Thu Dec 12, 2024 2:58 amWORD - it's sheer folly to suggest that by voicing concerns on a forum we're going against the club and not sticking together.
