I'm not renewing mine so might be a few spare seats if other people opt out. My health hasn't been the greatest and I can't afford to pay for a Ticket I haven't used much.

I'll still go to a few Home Games next season if money and health allows Me to

Especially as we're moving in to a more entertaining division!

And sorry to hear that Lucy, hope things get a bit better for you over the next year, so you can consider picking up a ST for our next Premier League season

All kind of irrelevant for some as can't be a part of it. Say again those that are able to attend home games regular you should count your blessings. The scores may be adverse on occasion or we're a disappointment to watch but you go there with the dreams and wishes of others who would want to be in your place.

The club should offer a refund this season for those who paid last time out. One win at Portman Road at the tail end of a season is far from value for money. Guess next season wins will become more evident as we drop back to take on opposition teams we can pick off and easier to garner a victory from at Championship level.

Wish Lucy every hope in a recovery also. Health and well being is far more essential than anything the team can produce on the field. So good luck to you.

Maybe, but it's this kind of corporate greed that is keeping prices growing way above wage increases and thus helping to keep the cost of living high.

I know that there are 3 extra games next season, but even so I'm struggling to see the justification for a 10% hike.

It’s a business at the end of the day and it’s supply and demand.

Definitely a supply and demand issue I think. I doubt there’ll be many ST’ being given up and so those want8mg one for next season may be hard pushed to get one. The club knows this .

I was speaking to a Town fan over the weekend, and he told me that American companies that are involved in national sport don’t want season ticketing, like we have here in the UK, and that he wouldn’t be surprised to see GC eventually get rid of it here at Town and replace it with match day ticketing.

Of course that means they can charge varying rates for various oppositions. If you buy my seat on a match day you’ll be paying at least £10 more than what I’m currently paying. But of course adopting a pure match day ticketing approach means you’ve got to be pretty sure Town will be playing at the highest level and therefore the demand would be there.

I’m aware that Pat Godbold has two staff STs in the west Stand. She’s not going to be going to games anymore, and it’ll be interesting to see if the club puts those up for a ST renewal or hang on to them and sell them match by match each week. My friend who often travels down from Manchester to watch Town has been using Pats tickets for a few games this season and is trying to buy them for next season, but is having to wait to see if she can get them.

GC are in it for the long haul, and putting ridiculous amounts of financial backing into the club. But there will come a day when it’s pay back time, of that I have no doubt.

Re the payback, that already came quite heavily when the club did the deal on the stakegholdings at the end of last season, the asset value of the club has increased dramatically. They'll likely be looking to keep doing that, ideally when/if the club is an established PL club they would move on fully possibly. Its about building the asset value of the club IMO to them rather than making a bit more from tickets/shirts etc, that is good for daily operations but not key in the overall asset value plan.

Its very interesting that a couple of the players gave openly stated that this vlub will be " one of the biggest clubs in the country" in the not too distant future. A bold claim. But it's based on what they are hearing and seeing going on at the club on a day to day basis. So not to be sniffed at I think .
