Still in position at Ashton Gate by all reports, (it's dragging on for considerable time) and that no move has taken place. Either biding their time or he doesn't know where his future lies.
Can see why Norwich want him, he's familiar with the City or area, has obvious connections but perhaps foremost took Bristol City to a play-off chance just recent. What the directors at Carrow Road maybe choose to overlook is the West Country team were beaten out of sight over two games and some would argue were never good enough to feature in the top six opportunities to begin with. In other words they simply overachieved or are as nowhere near as impressive as some would believe.
Suppose he gets his request and takes position at those bastards for next season, he's not a name or candidate that will work for them. Not someone that can deliver a promotion for them. That said perhaps it's best he gets his move there as potentially someone more capable could come along and do a job for them. You want them to fail, not succeed and Manning clearly leans towards the former if and when he takes up position there.
