Vote for the ITFC home shirt for 2005/06

Post by Dazza » Sat Oct 30, 2004 8:38 pm

We recently ran a competition to design the new Town home shirt for the 2005/06 season, and pictured below are the six winning designs selected by our judging panel, which included Town Chairman David Sheepshanks, Joe Royle and Jim Magilton. Now we are asking our loyal supporters to vote for the kit they would most like to see the team running out in. Simply dial the number next to your shirt selection or pick up a leaflet from Planet Blue stores and tick your choice before dropping off your entry into the voting boxes in Club stores.

Calls from a land line cost 25p, calls from overseas and mobile networks may vary. Actual shirt samples will be available to view in the Planet Blue store from the Brighton game on 27th November. Voting will stop and the lines will close on 14th December with the winning design being announced on 18th December at the Wigan game.

Hmm. Number 1 for me I think, mainly because its just "different". I'd like to see it modelled tho. You should run this as a vote Dazza.

Just for people who havent seen the program today...

4 = Has a massive horse on the front (same as on our badge)

5 = White pin strips all over

6 = says "ITFC" all over like the badge on the Orange shirt

The first three are awful in my opinion, especially the second one, we play in Blue, and there seems to be nearly as much white on that one!

I'd be happy with any from 4,5,6. Wouldn't buy number two at all costs if that gets it though.

No2 looks like Blackburn
No1 a bit cheap looking
I like No5 plain and simple no trimmings not trying to be different .

I say number four as well if I was pressed, but I wouldn't moan with either of the last three. Whilst Number one may look snazzy, please bear in mind what it's going to look like when someones wearing it I just personally think it would look odd and weird.

number 1 looks good, but could be mistaken for looking tacky
number 2 looks simular to one I designed (tho never sent it in)
number 3 looks quite smart altho lil to plain
number 4 looks like its from the early 90's
number 5 looks like our 2000/2002 shirt without the sh*te piping on it
number 6 has a great coller but again looks like an effort from the early 90's

im going for *drum roll*

number 1
